Wow Gurley got what appears to be $11.25 million per year and Johnson looks like $13 million per year.

No wonder LeVeon is holding out

I guess that the NFC West teams must think that the running back position is worth more than the CP experts do.

Bell should have signed his deal when offered. He would have gotten his 14 this year and 30 the next two. He thinks he going to get like 50 mil from someone and he isn't.

Let's not forget they are not paying big bucks to a QB. Pitt is paying big to Ben and Brown.

I don't think he will sign until midway through the season, if not until week 10.

Name the top 5 RBs in last 10 years and list the SBs they've won.

Another scenario where the QB position is kind of cheap and the contract isn't that long.

Marshawn Lynch. And.... that's probably it?

Good point but the best ground games made the playoffs. I would not give a massive deal to an RB. You can get a vwry good player from the draft.

So that'll end when he's 29? Smart.

So we won't be able to afford kareem hunt, probably should take a look at guys like justice hill.

David Johnson is very good, but unless they are a once in a generation type of running back like Adrian Peterson, Marshall Faulk, Barry Sanders, etc. Let them walk and find another good mid round stud RB. I hope we don't pay Kareem Hunt a huge contract when the time comes.

He’s going to go 1000 and 1000 this season.

Awesome. Love the kid. He still comes back to CF and is a great mentor to kids.

How? Bradford and Rosen throwing the ball? That is a long shot hot take.

He's going to get a deal as good or better than Gurleys when he's traded sometime this year. Jets will 100% pay what he wants

It’s too early to say but doubt I’d pay Hunt top dollar in a few years... love the player but the positional value isn’t there for me, especially if they end up paying Mahomes $40M+.

So damned hard to be a Cards fan. Even as a second choice.

Not a bad idea for Arizona. Good idea for RB contracts. If I'm Arizona, I want a RB contract I can get out of quickly. If I'm David Johnson, I don't care how long it takes me to get that money, just get me that money. Win win.

The Cardinals could have paid less per year for longer. Not a better solution. And for 3 years behind a rookie QB, it's not a bad idea to give him a safety valve.

Yeah. Totally forgot about Sam Bradford being his QB. I fucked up.
