The announced attendance of 57,013 for Washington’s 21-9 loss to the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday was about 25,000 short of the 82,000 capacity listed in the team’s 2018 media guide.

The team boasts in the guide that it has “sold out every home game for the past 50 seasons.”

So much for that. Redskins spokesman Tony Wyllie confirmed that the sellout streak ended Sunday.

I went to at least one game at arrowhead for 25 consecutive years. That ended the Xmas game against the broncos. I was not going to pay the money to see Alex Smith again and vowed not to wear red on Fridays until he was gone. So I can see where they're coming from.

The way he helped Mahomes last year. By all accounts, Smith stepped up and did what he could to help Mahomes get acclimated to the NFL. That, in part, is why Mahomes has roared out of the gate with what looks like no growing pains at all.
