View Full Version : Football Ajayi out for the season. How long until Pederson inquires about Ware?

Do the Eagles have anything defense-wise we could get for Spencer Ware? I figure with Ajayi being out for the season, Pederson will come after Ware since he already knows his system. Why not trade him for a defensive chip then re-sign Charcandrick West. Or does that make too much sense?

IF of course they don't go huge and trade for Le'veon Bell.

I'd rather not be one Kareem Hunt injury from putting some no-name up there. Hunt gets absolutely hammered week-in/week-out. I'm amazed seeing him get up after every time his body gets bent backward at an angle that would put most of us in traction.

Damien Williams is perfectly capable, and probably better than Ware at this point.

Wasn't Darby on the trading block earlier in the season? We needs safety help but I am sure Malcolm Jenkins is out of the question.

Yeah right, they'd never trade Darby for a RB like Ware. I'd trade him for Malcolm Jenkins in a heartbeat even though that probably isnt very realistic either.

Yes. He's a FA after the year and it seems highly unlikely they'd be able to give him what he wants consideing their cap situation. Now, this was before all the CBs in Philadelphia contracted EbolAIDS so probably not the case anymore, but this is all hypothetical bullshit anyway.

Eagles renegotiated Fletcher Cox contract freeing up about 7 million. So is a trade for Bell in works?

I mean you could add to it.

RB's are easy to find(relative to other positions). If we could add Darby for our backup RB plus a little extra I would easily do that. Scandrick is playing well though so KC might not force this unless it is a fair trade.

We need safeties and now apparently pass rushers. Our CB's are fairly stable, surprisingly.
