His only request was to have Rivers be his pall-bearer, so he could let him down one more time. He would have asked for Keenan Allen, but he didn't want him to get hurt in the process of dropping the casket.

Well, at least he got to realize his dream of uprooting a franchise and moving it to a city that doesn't care.

Alex Spanos was a slut. What? Alex Spanos is a self made American Billionaire. WTF? In 2008 Alex Spanos was diagnosed with dementia. He had absolutely nothing to do with the move of the cHargers to Los Angeles/Carson. Have some respect for Alex Spanos.

You confused me for a second, but that was a different year. Big-head Manning versus Leaf, Confused Manning versus Rivers.
You confused me for a second, but that was a different year. Big-head Manning versus Leaf, Confused Manning versus Rivers.
I was at the game in San Diego where Brees tried to recover a fumble in the end zone against the Titians, I think. That's where he busted up his shoulder. The cHargers decided to part ways thinking DB's shoulder was toast.

Woosh.DEMENTIA. I suggest you read a GREAT book from the former cHargers owner Gene Klein called FIRST DOWN AND A BILLION. Alex Spanos bought the cHargers form GK for $80 million. A great read for any fan of the NFL. When I started reading this book I couldn't put it down. A very funny look into the NFL from a very successful businessman, Gene Klein. Go check it out. You'll be glad you did.

Broncos, not Titans. John Lynch hit him, if I remember correctly.
