If Mahomes stays Mahomes, then its very possible we can exact a great deal of revenge on the NFL over the next few years. We had lost multiple games in a row to Cincy, then we smoked them Sunday night, getting a taste of revenge for all the miserable losses we've had to them.

But I want more. A lot more.

I want to deal out a bunch of playoff losses to teams that have made my life a personal pit of misery over the past 40 years. Here is my Revenge Bucket List, from mild to MUST.

Mild:

1) Beat Green Bay in a Super Bowl: I don't really despise Green Bay. Actually i admire them and I think they're a well run, historically great team. I just want to avenge our Super Bowl I loss when Lombardi said the Chiefs "were not an NFL caliber team." The next time the Chiefs faced an NFL team was the next season, 1967 in a pre-season game at Municipal Stadium. Stram beat George Halas' Bears 66-24, and played the starters the whole game.

2) LA/SD Chargers: We owe them an exit from the playoffs, and I'd like to do it by rushing Kareem Hunt for 200 yards. Natrone Means rushed the Bolts over one of Marty's teams to knock us out one year.

3) Baltimore Ravens: Knock them out of the playoffs by making them turn the ball over multiple times, like Ray Lewis did to Casshole and Todd Haley at Arrowhead. We were poseurs that year, but I'd like to give them a taste.

4) New England: After Tommy Boy retires, make them play with a second tier QB, in an Arrowhead playoff game, and Ball Control their ass where they can never catch up.

Medium:

1) Miami Dolphins: Get them in an Arrowhead playoff game when it's cold as Hell, force their line to jump offsides with crowd noise, have their kickers blow makeable field goals and taste the bile of kick related failure.

2) Pittsburgh Steelers: Go to Heinz Field, play a close playoff game, they try to tie it up in the fourth quarter, but Dee Ford flops on a rush and draws an Offensive Holding call on the Steelers tackle, which negates a two point conversion. We celebrate on their field and make them stew on that bogus ref call for an entire off season.

3) New York Jets: Beat them handily after they sneak into the playoffs on a blocked punt in their final game. Hold Sam Darnold to less than 100 yards passing. Beat them by five TDs.

Must Have:

1) Indianapolis Colts: I don't care how we beat them. I just want to kill them in a playoff game. I mean beat them like The Taliban. Make them taste the sting of playoff futility. Have their kicker miss every FG attempt. Have their best running back come up lame after one carry. Have Mahomes score a TD on a fumbled snap. Make Colts fans want to kill themselves.

2) Tennessee Tits: On their field, Tits go in at the half with a three TD lead, only to get punked and stuffed in the second half, as Mahomes goes crazy and throws four TD passes, including one to himself. Laugh at them as we leave Nashville. Make Tits fans want to kill themselves.

3) Denver Broncos: Like Indy, I don't care how we beat them. Best would be to have Mahomes run an 85 yard drive with two minutes left to beat them by one with :02 left in the game. Add Shane Ray to our defense, who tells the press he's "Always wanted to be a Chief." Do a baseball swing after sacking Keenum. Make Donk fans want to kill themselves.

Just win when it matters, that's all I care about.

But have something similar for baseball. My dream season is one where the Royals beat the A's in the divisional round, the Yankees for the pennant and the Cardinals for the World Series.

Gosh. I don’t understand the Titans hatred. As much as that loss sucked, it was a classic “Because Chiefs” experience.

Aside from the Colts who obviously deserve their own “burn in a vat of acid” section, the Steelers and Patriots are right at the top of the list for me. I would love to break their hearts and crush their souls. The Steelers playoff loss (Fisher vs Harrison.... fuck!) stuck with me for a long time. And the Patriots just deserve it, but I’d prefer the loss be with Brady whom we pick off 4 times to end his career as the Chiefs win 49-0. That’s the only way to go for true redemption.

I like this. Much more satisfying than just beating them. Let's rape, pillage, and genuinely destroy some lives while we're at it. Great job as always, George.

Pitt. Close game. Sack Rapelisburger for a safety to win. Severs a lower vertebrae. He's never able to use his pecker again.

NE: Blowout. They take Brady out after 4 picks. He's on the sideline kissing his son on the lips and gets plowed by Julian Edelmen who is blasted out of bounds on an incompletion. Both Brady and his kid lose all their teeth in the accident

Indy: 1995 Reunion. Chiefs blow them out. Linn Elliott and Jim Harbaugh share a ride to the airport after the game. It gets carjacked by a doped up bunch of Denver Bronko players that are in town to watch the game. The car is hit by a train.

Denver: Chiefs in blowout fashion once again. On the way back to Denver, the bronko plane hits the first ever discovered AIDS tree during an emergency landing.

The Colts is the #1 must have for me. Luckily I wasn't alive to endure the heart breaking loss to Miami in 71, I don't remember the one in 1990, but I do remember the one from 1994. That one hurt. But nothing compared to the Colts.

I think the best way to do it would be to come back from being behind by 33 points. Because that would break the all-time record right? The Oilers came back from being down 35-3 to Buffalo if I recall. That would be justice.

Beating the Broncos in the playoffs would be nice too. Grease our jerseys, chop block everyone and get away with it, and make them lose on a horse shit offensive PI call at the end.

In fact, douse our pass rushers jerseys in KY Liquid. Have fun blocking that.

Are you serious about this man? I can’t tell. If your suffering is that bad and its gonna take that much. Then my friend, Im sorry to tell you but no joy will equal or overcome your sufferings as a Chiefs fan.

Chiefs play a close one at Heinz field but Pittsburgh comes out sluggish in the second half and are blown out. It is later discovered that the Steelers Gatorade was laced with antifreeze. The halftime ceremony for James Harrison is cut short because warpaint breaks loose from her stall and tramples Harrison who who will never be able to walk again.

10-24-2018, 11:14 PM
Blowing these teams out is much more preferable to any close games. That just completely demoralizes them and their fans. They will know deep down they have no chance when playing us and that no matter how good their seasons are, that playing the Chiefs will loom on the horizon. It will always be in the back of their minds knowing that their seasons have a singular end that they cannot do anything to overcome.

With regards to the Broncos, we are already getting back at them with the consecutive win streak and winning the division that they have felt is theirs and theirs alone. Keeping them out of the playoffs and leaving them with no hope for the division is much more satisfying than any one playoff game.

While I get where you're coming from, think about it like this: if New England or Pittsburgh had just beaten us a few years ago in the playoffs by 40pts, you'd say, "Well, we're the Chiefs and we just got outplayed because they're better and we suck like always." But when they beat us in part because we're playing with a skeleton crew led by Jason Avant at WR and Reid can't manage clock yet we ALMOST come back (NE) or Alex Smith (!) leads a late TD drive and hits a 2-point conversion only to see it wiped away by a holding call (Pitt)... those sting for such a long time. What-ifs are really what crush souls.

Or at least mine.

How about we compromise on our dream? We beat them in close games for the next 2 seasons and then begin a decade of 77-28 blow-outs.

I never said you shouldn’t be bitter. The pain and suffering is totally understandable. But why make it impossible to recover from it? Why be stuck in it forever? Is it worth it? I don’t think so.

Why set so many expectations that are not realistic in nature? No offense to the OP, I appreciate and enjoy reading his posts from 10 things, but man no way are all those going to happen. Im confident in saying that.

I understand he has high hopes for Mahomes but “slow down the horses.” Geez. Its not like were automatically great all of a sudden? Do you think all those things are gonna happen with a great QB? Even the great ones lose! But they win as well don’t get me wrong.

I just think his expectations are harsh. Beating those teams listed may be possible but they may not beat all of them? And just some of the things he is asking for, I want Dee Ford to draw a hold on the Pitt Oline to negate a two point conversion and that way they could win?! Or yeah were losing to Tennessee by three TDs and then Mahomes runs wild in the second half and throws 4 TDs and we beat them??LMAO....Come on dude? Thats why I asked him is he serious about this?

I just don’t think anyone should set expectations upon the intricacies of the game and having it unfold a certain way. There is a very good chance that won’t happen. Think along the lines of probabilities. What are the odds of these things happening? Heck, What he is asking for is no different than the odds of winning the lottery. Heck I would just ask for that? Gimme ****ing 50 million or 100 million over this crap and I’ll ride off into the sunset, not worry about a damn thing about sports while enjoying the nice beach atmosphere and sipping on a pina colada.

I don’t think he should set all these expectations. It just further perpetuates disappointment. Especially unrealistic ones. Thats why I say go simple. Better chance you’d be happy and overcome the bitterness. Thats all Im saying.

I'm glad to see you went with some old-school dislike (Packers) and disdain (Dolphins), but I'd move NE to the "destroy their souls" category, just because. I'll also disagree about the venues, they all should be at the Kingdom's castle, Arrowhead.
Oh yeah, not that it matters, but pound the dark vassals of the East Bay into submission at every opportunity.

I can’t wait for Patriots fans to be treated like Cowboys fans.

Completely irrelevant with all of their succes in the rear view mirror and a total laughing stock clinging to past glory. They’re the Uncle Ricos of the NFL.
