Everyone is trying to “buy” a super bowl with these rental players.

We’ll win it with the guys we drafted and guys not on 1 year deals.

I am ready for him to shit all over the Cowboys publicly. Idgaf about him or the Saints, but I hope he balls out and ends up with nasty stats so Jerruh looks more ridiculous than he does now.

I would have gladly watched the Chiefs rent Earl Thomas. We'd be unstoppable, especially if Berry comes back even at 80%. That duo would have broken my dick.

I’m good, we got this!!!

When we do win it, it’ll feel that much better. Fuck these rental guys.

Why Not?

He's done. Will look decentish due to Drew Bree's but he's a JAG and won't even be relevant until week 12 at the earliest.

Josh Gordon for a 5th seemed reasonable at the time and even better now that Watkins is dinged.

He’s also a RFA in 2019.

Hell no, this team has great chemistry, no need for a moron cancer like Gordon when we don't need him.

I still expect his dumb ass to get suspended or do something before the season is over. He is already pushing his boundaries in NE.

I already thought NO was going to the SB and I don’t see how this hurts. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

A Chiefs-Saints SB would be fucking awesome entertainment.

I think it was the Bills game where they said he was like an hour late or some shit and would sit out AT LEAST the first few drives. I don't think dude sat out a play. Anyway, it won't surprise me in the slightest if he's jobless before the year is done

Dez Bryant was helped off the field at #Saints practice today after suffering what the team fears may be a torn Achilles, sources tell me and @RapSheet. He’s getting an MRI now

Should have signed that long-term deal when he had a chance. His career is over.

One less weapon for Brees though, so that is good.

Good, I’m sick of fucking hearing about him every week. It will be even worse when he is a free agent forever because he doesn’t get what he thinks he deserves.

^ Every dickhead Steeler's player and their coach could shred both legs and I would not feel bad for them. Dirty cheapshot fuckers.

Oh wow, never really cared one way or the other about him or the Saints... but yeah man that sucks for him, and them

I wonder if the layoff affected his conditioning enough to help cause this

edit* Marcellus beat me to the above question

So wait. What? You’re saying that if you miss TC and half the season and try to step in at full speed week 8 you could injure yourself? Well shit. Who could have guessed that?

Eh, was it really full speed? "Practice" for him could have been stuff you see at training camp, and he was questionable to even play this week. It's not like he signed and played in the game the next day.

JJ Birden posted this...

I played nine years and trained as a track and field sprinter half of the offseason because as WR's, we run so much. Even with the intense training, my legs were still sore from training camp and practices.

Also from what I hated about the four NFL teams I played with, they did not warm up the guys thoroughly enough. It might be different now but if I watched an NFL warm up today I could answer that questions.

It's why you see so many muscles injuries early in the season with the skills positions. It was a joke. A few stretches and drills here and there and now go run some streaks full speed
