Chiefs win it all. Mahomes is easily the league MVP & SB MVP, fucking over Brees' best chance to finally win it. Through the regular season and playoffs, Mahomes will throw for 70 total TDs. Hunt will be the first back in history to rush and receive 10+ TDs in a season.

I used to be afraid of jinxing this team by getting my hopes up.
No longer. We have a QB. And he's a really fucking good QB, too.
Even if we don't reach the final goal this year, I can finally let loose and trust my team and enjoy the ride.

Pitt and NE don't have a ground game like LA.
We'll beat both at Arrowhead (especially if Pitt doesn't have Bell).

I'm all in on this team. For once in our lives the Chiefs have done what it takes. I know it's no guarantee of success but this isn't the same old bullshit. Time to shed the cynicism.

Very rarely do you see seasons like we are now. Something happens coaching change, new qb, or something.
We need to capitalize now while these studs are young, I think we go all the way.
The really amazing thing happens when Brady/Rodgers/Brees/Rivers all retire in 2-3 years. Right now I only seeing three QB's who are young enough to take over for those guys...

- Desean Watson
- Patrick Mahomes

Its because I don't think either of those guys are amazing game changing QB's. They just happen to be in really good systems.

We all know that the quarterback is the central figure, and you have to have a great quarterback to win.
But the thing that makes me so optimistic is that we don't just have the great quarterback, but we've also got the surrounding cast. The old wisdom was that you could be a great team if you had triplets: an elite QB, RB, and WR. Well, we don't just have triplets. We've got quintuplets.

Mahomes and one of Hill/Kelce/Hunt will go out in the first quarter with a concussion. Watkins will be hobbled. Justin Houston will clearly not be 100%
The Chiefs will still fight valiantly and lose on the worst, weirdest, never-seen-before blown call by the refs.
Also a ball will bounce around and land in the opposing QB's hand, turning a potential game-ending play for us into a TD for them.

This team also has a history of choking as does their HC. I predicted win the SB too but I'm not confident at all.
