Reid - 4 Letters
Stram - 5 Letters
Dawson - 6 Letters
Mahomes - 7 Letters

4,5,6,7

Mahomes was drafted in the 2017 Draft and he was Born in 1995 - his college number was 5

Mahomes favorite condiment is Ketchup (7 Letters) Alternate Spelling Catsup (6 Letters), both of which correspond to the letters in Mahomes and Dawson, respectively.

4+5+6+7 = 22, that was the age that Patrick Mahomes became a starter.

22 could also be called "Double Deuce", the name of the bar in the Movie Roadhouse, which is based in the small town of Jasper, outside of Kansas City. In the movie, Patrick Swayze's girlfriend was blonde. Patrick Mahomes girlfriend is blonde. And that's not even mentioning they are both named Patrick!

22 also coincides with the letters in Reid's name, 4 letters total. 2+2=4

At the end of Roadhouse, Patrick Swayze WINS, Patrick Mahomes WINS as well.

I could go on with this, but there are some remarkable similarities!

Forgot a few...

Mahomes current number is 15

1+5 = 6, Dawson has 6 letters
5-1 = 4, Reid has 4 letters

Chiefs has 6 Letters (Dawson)
Kingdom has 7 Letters (Mahomes)

Oh. My. God.

Mahomes - 15
Dawson - 16

15+16 = 31, the number that beat Dawson's record. All joking aside, that one is actually kinda cool! :)

Sad to see how much time has taken its toll on Lenny.

Honestly, I actually never thought I'd see the day when the Chiefs would have a QB who could go toe-to-toe with Len Dawson based on franchise impact alone.

The thought that keeps surfacing in my brain parts is this; Lenny played in some "Very Big Games" over the years and won a ton of them. Young Master Mahomes has played in a couple of games that might be considered "Big Games" but not at the level Len did. Not yet, anyhow. This week might be considered a "Big Game" (and probably should be), but Mahomes is going to have a lot of those in his career. I'm not used to it, I guess (and for good reason). Still, there are a lot of "Big Games" in our future to look forward to ... including a "Very Big Game" or two.

The part when Lenny said “I was young once” seemed like watching Mahomes really did make him feel young again. He truly sees himself in the kid.

This was one of the best videos I’ve ever seen.

Great times ahead, gentlemen.

Whats more mindblowing is the fact it took 55 years to find a QB that could break it in an NFL that favors passing QBs.

I love that he actually talks about winning the Super Bowl. The philosophies of our previous regimes drove me nuts:

Carl Peterson was "Just get in the tournament and anything can happen". That's a load of crap. They were happy with being the 5 or 6 seed. You're not winning the Super Bowl as a 5 or 6 seed playing 3 road playoff games. I know it's happened a time or two but the vast majority of the Super Bowl winners are 1/2 seeds with first round byes and HFA.

Pioli was "The Right 53". Also a load of crap. Get the right "1" (QB) and the other 52 fall into place. What was even worse was that Pioli coming from New England with Brady should have know this better than anyone. Yet he still rode the Cassel train off the cliff.
