I'm trying to think of any charitable way to view it. I guess the ball was moving but it wasn't yet completely out of his grasp, but I've definitely heard the refs in other games rule that a fumble occurred because the ball was moving in the guy's grasp before he went down.

I really don't get it. We all look at it and see a fumble. The refs appears to be the only ones who don't see it.

It’s not like the ball was moving because he was switching hands. The ball was moving because he lost control of it. I don’t get it.

The Redskins and Cowboys are decent teams and they gave NE a game.

Mostly I'm concerned because they are absolutely peaking at the right time and their offense is better than the numbers indicate.

That's a team with a legit top 10 offense and defense and Watson looked fast as fuck last night. He could negate our pass rush easy.

I'd rather see the Pats or Steelers to be honest. Their defenses are trash and their QBs are old.

Do defensive rankings really matter against the Chiefs though?

We score more than teams allow on average every week. The Chiefs can put up 35+ on anyone.

If we get HFA, I don’t worry about anyone in the AFC. It’s all about us just executing and playing our game.

That's a team with a legit top 10 defense

A "legit top 10 defense" that was only able to force ONE incompletion by mediocre Mariota the entire game last night.

Decent?

Name another team in the AFC with:

a top 10 defense
a top 10 running game
a playmaking QB with two dangerous wide receivers

I don't see one.

They allowed 27 points to Brady
They allowed 37 points to Luck

I’m seeing a trend here

Mahomes might drop 47 on that D. Watson is good but can’t keep up

Why? We get the 1 and Houston gets the 2, we likely have to play both Pittsburgh and new England to make the Super bowl

So what? We would have to face NE in the AFC championship game no matter what. The Steelers just lost to the Broncos, they are literally like every other above average team in the AFC. Almost nothing separates them from teams like the Chargers and Houston.

NE is and will always be our main competition regardless of records and what's 'hot'. We have to ensure their path in the playoffs is compounded with as much resistance as possible. They need to play wildcard weekend.

Lol exactly. Brady didn’t have Gordon or Edelman either.

Who the **** do they have to cover Hill/Kelce/Watkins?

The Texans D is a lot like the Chiefs but with a little better secondary play. Their front 7 is probably better too.

It's a good defense that's playing well and has some monsters up front with Watt and Clowney.

The difference in our offenses is much more significant.

Sure, the Chiefs offense is better.

The Texans offense isn't bad by any means and their defense is probably the best in the AFC at the moment of teams in the hunt.

Yeah I’m more worried about them than the Steelers and Patriots because Watson is mobile and has some weapons and their defense is very good in the front 7 with Honey Badger in the back. Watt is elite again and Clowney is a double digit sack guy.

As far as our opposition, they are the closest thing to the Rams in the AFC.

The Chiefs barely beat the Broncos. Twice.

Works both ways.

And Houston had to have some luck to beat the Broncos....

Ratings for last night's game dropped 38% from the Chiefs/Rams game last week.

Ouch.

They have gotten SOOO lucky. They have won every close game on their schedule. Opposing kickers are their friend.
