Do you think Tua lost it in that final game against Georgia?

And to a guy who isn't even planning on playing professional football. Do you think Murray would translate to the pro level well? I know he's small but some guys have overcome that.

Man Haskins was sitting there like "I know this shit is between Murray and Tagavailoa."

Can't believe tua didn't win.

I figured it was going Murray since I heard one of the voters on sports radio this week and he hinted that he was going Murray and almost all the other voters he talked to were going Murray. The fact Tua didn't play well in the Georgia game and Hurts brought them back in the 2nd half is probably what won it for Murray.

Will Tua get the belt from his father for not winning it?

Jalen Hurts' performance probably had a big impact. You can make a pretty strong argument Bama would be undefeated with their backup QB. Oklahoma was in a bunch of close shootouts because of their lousy defense. They probably lose another 3 games without Kyler.

Kyler is similar to Mahomes in that regard. Chiefs would have quite a few losses on the board right now with their backup QB in there because the defense has been horrible.

Tua absolutely lost it because of the SECCG.

The Heisman Trophy Ceremony used to be, at least for me, must see TV. I didn't even know the award was being given out tonight until I heard some guys on the radio mention it in passing this morning.

Seems to have really lost its luster, although that could just be me.

Oklahoma is the worst team that has ever been in the CFB playoff. Bama will beat them 60 to 21.

Getting pulled early in the blowouts Bama had didn't help his cause either.

The Sooners are a lot like the Chiefs this year. Great offense. Shit defense. Winning anyway due to MVP performance from QB.

He needs to hand that Heisman back over now. The falling out from Sucking Juicy Winkies (SJW) and the LBQTPHCS will be too much to overcome.

Exactly. Cost him a huge amount if playing time. IMO, the right guy won it. OU is not OU without Murray. Bama is still Bama without Tua.
