I for one am very happy. He was doing a great job in Oakland with that roster. I think there was some locker room turmoil from the entire kneeling situation and Carr never recovered with some of his teammates. Del Rio wasnt a strong enough coach to fix it. This led to the Gruden hire and he's too strong of a presence for hen to co exist.

I think McKenzie looked good because previous drafting by the raiders was dubious.
He was ok but I just never feared him building a dynasty in oakland so I guess I am sorry to see him go.
