Seattle has a strong run game. KC has a shit run defense. Seattle also has a good QB that can elude a pass rush and extend plays. KC has a shit secondary. So, Seattle has 2 huge advantages. I think Seattle wins by at least 7.

KC - 28
Sea - 35

Why Not?

Their defense isn't very good so Pat keeps it close but the defense and coaching fuck it up again

Reid and Co have 3 extra days to prepare for this game. Both teams coming off a loss. Chiefs are playing for the AFCW crown and the Seahawks are playing for the playoffs. The Seahawks defense is middle of the pack in DVOA and slightly above average offensive DVOA. But, with this game on SNF on the road...who knows.

IT WOULD HELP IF OUR OVERPAID #2 WR WOULD ACTUALLY PLAY A GAME ONCE IN A WHILE.

We havent seen Reid revert to his BS conservative play calls with a lead this year. Hopefully, he learned and reinforces the lesson that with Mahomes especially, it doesn't work.

I think its going to be a dog fight. Chiefs playing with a 14 point lead ain't happening.

The Chiefs have scored 51, 40, and 28 in their losses this year. Our defense has taken all my confidence away. We need to score a minimum of 35 and not be in the position of counting on our defense at the end of the game if we are going to win this week.

Berry will be huge this week in helping to contain the run.

Good things happen when Mahomes has a sense of urgency. I expect him to be in "do or die" mode all game long. 35-21.

Not sure why so many of you sissies are betting against him vs a team that just lost to the 49ers.

Gravedigger
12-17-2018, 11:28 AM
It's going to be tough especially with Seattle losing to the 49ers this last weekend. They're going to give us their best so they can hopefully take the last week as a breather to rest guys. I think Chiefs surprise us and win 31-27.

As some have stated, last week's loss was indeed a wake-up call. Methinks Andy again realizes that he has a stick of dynamite at QB, and decides to light the fuse.

Seems to me that there is a contingent of posters that "need" the NFL to be real...and are adamant about using every debating technique possible to discredit anyone who senses something off. Personally, these types are weirder than ones simply pointing out a pattern of anomalies...and questioning if there is an ulterior motive behind them.

These are the types who will fire bomb a village because a "superior" told them to...without questioning the ethics or spiritual repercussions. "Chain of command" is part of their DNA programming. They are like a dog doing a trick to get a reward from their masters.

This is the NFL target demographic...

I have no clue what to expect out of Chiefs/Seahawks, but I know the NFL will make the following happen.

Ravens beat Chargers move to 9-6
Titans beat Redskins move to 9-6
Colts beat Giants move to 9-6

Gives them a HUGE late Sunday game, and awesome games in the final weekend. To me it looks like a couple good teams are going to be staying home, like Pittsburg and Indy.

I agree, everyone is so Debbie downer about us right now, for goodness sakes the freaking Rams lost at home to the freaking Eagles and their backup QB and their 3rd or 4th string RB (I forget). Even look at last night, the supposed best team in the NFL was in a dog fight against arguably the worst Carolina Panthers team of the last few years. The Seahawks lost to the god awful 49ers and Nick Mullens. Anything can happen in the NFL.

Could play out similar to Baltimore game, not the exact ending just the general flow of the game. Chiefs have slumped a bit with the Oakland win, then the two dog fights that could have gone either way. They cant keep good point separation due to the leaky defense, where even inferior squads like Oakland can hang 33 points and be an onside recovery away from 40. Seahawks cant stop Mahomes, but they can control TOP if they want to so this game should be close.

Late game heroics from Wilson will make the box score look closer than it was. Chiefs will win comfortably, but still give up ten points in the last 4 minutes.

Chiefs win with a Charger loss locks up the division and the 1 seed.

That's actually not true. ARROW2 was correct. If the Chargers lose to the Ravens but beat the Broncos, then we have to at least go 1-1 with the win being vs Oakland. If we both go 1-1 and the Chargers loss is to the Ravens and our loss is to the Raiders, then we lose the division tiebreaker and are the 5 seed.

So if the Chargers lose to the Ravens, then our game against Seattle is meaningless, because we'll only have to beat Oakland to win the division and the 1 seed.
