Can someone explain how "Chiefs Kingdom" came about. What the hell is the relation between an Indian Chief and a "kingdom"? This isn't Game of fucking Thrones. They couldn't come up with some Indian reference?

Cool. Can someone please do a drive by shooting and take our all 3? If the cops are Chiefs fans, they won't even try to arrest you. They might give you a medal

After the Redskins shit, I assume they decided to lean on the Royals rubric

Well, there's no way that they make it to the show. Bob will tell them the wrong place to go, or if he gets it right, they'll still be a block away from where they're supposed to be.

I've been curious myself. It seems like someone is trying to brand it, either the Chiefs or some media outlet or something, because it keeps getting pushed on us and it makes no sense at all. It feels very contrived.

Eric Berry will drive by in a car yelling, "No! Sit over there! In that chair! Over there!"

I've never heard or watched this show. I assume all the fans are either plants or heavily screened and nothing even remotely pressing is allowed

Mayor H Roe(The Chief)Bartle his kingdom was KC as its mayor.

Also formed the Tribe of the Mic-O-Say in BSA. For the 100,000 time Chiefs NFL franchise have nothing to do with Indian Nations and never have.

PS: Lamar Hunt credits H Roe Bartle for convincing him to move to KCMO and renamed his AFL club the KC Chiefs in honor of his friend Mayor Bartle The Chief.

Has nothing to do with Indian Nations yet there is an arrowhead on the helmet, had an indian on the Texans helmet, play in arrowhead stadium, beat a drum, have a horse named warpaint.

Then why have they always used Native American imagery in their uniforms, logos and traditions??

You know arrowheads aren't exclusive to American Indians right?

Arrowheads- not exclusive to Native American Indians

Tomahawk chop - started randomly by fans in the stands because Fla St. in 1989 or 90 i was there when it started and it was stupid then as it is now. As it grew Tony Dipardo started playing the Fla St fight song. They should have sued.

Horse named Warpaint- They name horses a lot of things. The horse was owned by Howard Benjamin and stabled at Benjamin Stables. It was ridden by Bob Johnson a Native American in full Indian Chief Headdress.

Banging Tribal Drum- That's more of an African thing American Indians were nomads going where the food was they fought with other tribes so to draw attention to themselves wasnt in their best interests. Everything I have seen or read they made small tamborine type instruments with hyde sinew animal teeth and claws for rituals and celebration dance.

Yep. The stone axe isn't exactly restricted to Native American use alone. These tools have been used for untold millenia. Long before the Western Hemisphere was discovered by humans.

Which makes me wonder why we're supposed to "put the hammer down" when, in fact, we should be putting down the flint adze ... or granite hatchet ... or big-rock-melon-breaker, maybe.
