Somewhere I did a thread looking at when the rigging started, and I concluded that it was the 1997 Super Bowl when the league was promoting John Elway. So this was a clean win.

I was 13 years old when we won the SB I remember watch the tonight show with my parents that night because Hank and Lenny were going to be on. It was a school night and I was allowed to stay up late to see it.

Mike Garrett and Buck Buchanan were on another show I remember. It may have been Joey Bishop.

Very cool! I wonder if any film or video exists of this?

Back when men could be real men. Smoke and drink scotch all day and slap women around with no repercussions.

I guess the league was rewarding Hunt for what he did to help the leagues merge. After that they punished him because there are not enough humans in Kansas City.

Wow, you really are an 'ol trimer! ROFL

And a Joey Bishop reference to boot. What's next Merv Griffin, Mike Douglas or Dinah Shore? :D

Johnny Carson was a very strange and dark person outside of his TV show.

Joey Bishop was one of the original five members of the Vegas "Rat Pack" and was the last one standing, passing away in 2007.
