Just realized NFL Gamepass goes back to 2009 and has every game played.

Im trying to think of some of the best regular season games in the past 10 years to rewatch this weekend

First few I thought of were:

2016 OT win against Denver
2013 JC 5 game
The 2 wins against the Patriots
Eric Berry pick 2 Game

which are your favorites/best games?

Right now, nothing tops the 2010 home opener but that also included the 3 day bash and royals game.

The only thing that will top that is a superbowl win. Hopefully before I die.

I still love Ryan Leaf's first game at Arrowhead...He completed more passed to the Chiefs than the Chargers and had more turnovers than passing yards, but gamepass likely won't have that game!

I was actually at that game. It was incredible.

My 2nd would have to be Chiefs/Rams. I was there and it was intense from start to finish.

I have 12 favorite games, and they all happened this year. Here is to hoping it ends up being 15 favorite games. :D

In all honesty, even in the losses, they were great games.

The Broncos OT game - I was stranded on the 5 Freeway in brutal traffic trying to get back to LA. Luckily I had Sirius and the local KC radio broadcast.

When Bennie Fowler was running for the end zone with the Broncos up by 1 pt. I said to myself - well don't tackle him so at least we have a chance. If he goes down at the 1 - the game is literally over. When will coaches learn in these spots?

And then freaking Santos bounces it off the uprights to win. GAHHH!

Im going to go a bit further back. 2003 at the ravens when Dante Hall returned a kickoff back for a touchdown giving us the win. Also, 2004 against the mike vick led falcons. They came in with the #1 ranked rush defense and we scored EIGHT rushing touchdowns on them. The score was 56-10 chiefs. We had the crowd wave going on at arrowhead stadium. That offensive line with Shields, Roaf, waters, and wiegmann, was unstoppable.

He would have shattered mannings record. The OL we have now is average at best. Roaf IMO is the best LT to ever play the game. Shields is a HOFer and Brian waters was a great LG. Wiegmann at center was alwasy undersized but he made up for it with his speed and athleticism. RT was the only issue after Tait left back in the 2004 season. But goddamn that offensive line was incredible.

The 2015, 2016 and 2017 playoff losses.

I didn't figure we'd make the SB this year but I also didn't think PM could toss 50 TD's and 5,000 yards in year one.

The good news is this off season we'll have 40 million in cap space (before the cap gets raised) and we can just buy a fucking defense...:)

It might be above average when fully healthy but it’s been mediocre most of this year.

After seeing Brees’s season highlights, it’s easy to see how he completed 77%. I think there were about three plays made under pressure. All day on most plays.

Give Mahomes that line and teams would be forfeiting.

2013 Philadelphia Eagles game when Andy returned to Philly.

2014 New England Patriots game on MNF. The day before the Royals wildcard win.
2015 Houston Texans playoff game.

I'm too tired at the moment to come up with 10, but I loved the Halloween game where Rivers fumbled the snap/easy field goal victory. That was almost miracle at the meadowlands type of stuff. Doink game was pretty epic. Had we won either of the NE/LA Rams games this year those would have to be on the list. Hell the Rams game is still pretty amazing.

If we are counting the playoffs I might go with the Texans game. Just the feeling of winning a playoff game was something incredible, even if it wasn't an entertaining game outside of that.

I'd have to really think about it, but I can say confidently without thinking that games from 2003-2005 and this year would be ranked over almost anything from in between, when I never really cared for our direction as a team. There was like this permanent cloud over my enjoyment level as a fan. I loved players like Charles and DJ etc but having to root for all the trash QBs we had, knowing deep down we're never gonna do squat as a team? And it doesn't help that we had so little meaningful success in that time frame. Obviously the Texans playoff win is up there, as 'hollow' as it was.

Off the very top of my head, the Steelers game this year is up there. That MNF game in Baltimore where we owned Ray Lewis. Maybe the 8 rushing TD game vs Vick.

I can't answer this question because I don't really remember games. I remember plays. Occasionally I remember plays that have an important context in a game, like a walkoff touchdown. But I don't remember groups of plays very well, particularly when they're combined into an entire game.

"Probably"?

When Alex Smith didn't even TRY to throw to a WIDE OPEN Tyreek Hill...because he knew he couldn't physically get the ball there from the position he was in, that was when the Sands of his Chiefs Hour Glass began running...

Reid was still toying with the idea of having the NFL's leader in QB rating and 20+ yard plays playing in KC for the 2018 season and letting Mahomes sit another year...until Smith went Full Fetal in the 2nd half of the Titans loss.

That's the moment when the final grain of sand in his Chiefs Hour Glass ran out.

God Bless Alex Smith.

God Bless him for showing the kid the ropes around Arrowhead and KC. AND God Bless him for playing out of his head, numbers-wise last year, so that Washington backed up the truck to get him.

Godspeed, Alex.

1. 9/16 Chiefs @ Pittsburgh 42-37. Probably the greatest QB game that I've ever witnessed.
2. 9/9 Chiefs @ LAC 38-28. Mahomes opening game against the media darling Chargers
3. 10/01 Chiefs @ Denver Left handed pass, come back on MNF
4. 12/09 Chiefs vs Ravens. Possibly the best 4th and 9 play you will ever see.
5. 9/23 Chiefs vs 49ers. One of the best TD throws you will ever see. Mahomes and the Chiefs were unstoppable in the first half.
6. 12/30 Chiefs vs Oakland. Not the prettiest game for the offense or Mahomes but this was the game he reached 50/5000 and secured the #1 seed.
7. 11/04 Chiefs @ Cleveland. Very fun game. Mahomes had a hail mary/stopped route by hill INT that probably ruined a perfect game.
8. 10/21 Chiefs vs CIN. SNF ass whooping 45-10.
9. 10/28 Chiefs vs Denver. Just another very good game by Mahomes against one of the best defenses in the NFL.
10. 10/07 Chiefs vs JAX. The game that ruined Bortles. Mahomes played much better than his statistics look. Up and down the field and just dismantling that very good defense.

I have looked everywhere for the 2002 Chiefs vs Cardinals game, 49-0. I can't find ANY footage other than the D Hall return. Would be awesome if someone could find that game for me.

The Cleveland game that year was fun. That's when Rudd took his helmet off to celebrate after they stopped us on 4th down with about 2 seconds left. 15 yard penalty. Moved us into field goal range. Kicked the game winner.

I remember that game because I was surprised how good our offense was. Even the announcers were talking about how we were going to have to be a running team and control the clock and win low scoring games. Then we go on a 4 year tear of lighting the scoreboard up.

I'm still fond of the 2003 56-10 thumping of the Atlanta Falcons but that's over ten years ago.

I thought of this one as well. Also, the MNF beatdown of the Ravens where our O-Line dominated that defense.

Christmas night against those horse people - most fun game i've been to. The Cincinnati Sunday night game this year was fun as shit to watch as well. 2015 Wild Card game against Houston was also enjoyable.

In 2014, I had to decide to either go to the home opener against the Titans or the Monday Night game against the Pats, annnnnnnnd I chose the home opener since I had school at the time and I would've had to drive back to Iowa after the Monday night game. Regret regret regret regret regret

Oh also, 1997 44-9 or whatever against the 49ers. 2nd favorite game I was at

Give me 2018 Ravens. Seemed like it was going to be another late season collapse head scratching home loss. (as I type this I guess it kind of happened the next week)

But then Mahomes on 4th and 9. I think that play symbolizes just what we now have in Kansas City.

Maybe we'll lose in the playoffs again. But we're going to have shot at a Lombardi for the next decade.

The MNF against the Bills in 1991(i think), I was there and Okoye and Word and maybe Harvey Williams kicked ass. We were underdogs and won i think 33-9, great memories.

2016 OT win vs @DEN

2016 comeback OT win vs Chargers (home opener IIRC)

2014 MNF (crowd noise record) win over Pats

And I will say, even though we lost, the Rams game this year was a lot of fun to watch.

Ravens game this yr ranks up there too.

The last 17 regular season games are my favorites.
