View Full Version : Chiefs Season ticket holders - How much did the CHIEFS ask for the AFC Champ game?

Any season ticket holders buy seats for the AFC Championship Game at ARROWHEAD? If so, how much in what section? Looking on NFL ticket exchange and StubHub for seats in the 300 (upper) level going at just over $300.00 each in the pre-sale market. Thinking about buying now so curious what season ticket holders paid. Thanks. GO CHIEFS!! :thumb:

I doubt you could park at Jerry World for the Pillsbury Bake- Off for that

As much as I hate broker markup, what I hate more is when the team does it to their own fans.

Lower level corners were reportedly sold to STH's for $115 for the Divisional Game.

Same seats to the public directly from the Chiefs?

$215.

Fuck off.

It wasn't long ago STHs were griping that they didn't get any discounts and had to eat the cost of preseason tickets.

There's a pair available directly from the Chiefs in 117 for $285 each plus fees.

For the DIVISIONAL game.

Yeah, it's tempting to sell them at those prices, but I just can't do it. I've been a season ticket holder for nearly 20 years now. One big reason I bought them was so I could attend all home playoff games. And yes, I realize the irony in that statement.

I know. I guess my point is just that that seems reasonable to me. If you are a STH, you deserve to get a pretty good deal on playoff tickets. If not, you're going to pay market prices. Sucks, but they're just responding to years of scalpers taking the money instead of them.

That why I said now.

I was a STH for 6 years, we got like a $10-20 per ticket discount off what they sold to the public for.

Agreed. That game is going to be a sellout if it happens, almost no matter what they charge. Out of town Chiefs fans will be traveling to attend, on top of the obvious massive local interest.

Will be cheaper now than once the game is official.

This is the decision I'm trying to make: buy now or wait till it's official? Tickets started out at $290+ on ticketsforless, and now the cheapest is $327. I'm thinking they'll probably go up even more if they win this week.

You could get a ton of tickets in the lower level for the Divisional under $200 before the opponent was known.

Good to see they're doing something for the fans.

It’s way more fun having a party. I can see no scenerio where I’d chose to be at the game by myself or with a buddy instead of being with my fellow Chief fans having a party.

I'm not anticipating the market getting flooded. It hasn't happened for the Divisional.

There weren't a lot of tickets released to the public, which means they were already bought by STH's.

Same. I'm coming out for the AFC Title game but I have no desire to go to a Super Bowl if the Chiefs are in.we are going to have 100+ Chief fans at our Chiefs group watch party down here. For a divisional playoff game.

Only issue for a Super Bowl is finding a way to enjoy it with my local Chief fans and somehow find a way to share it with my fellow long suffering fans on here too.

Super tempted to buy these just to troll the hell out of Andrew Luck.

I bought seats in 136 first few rows in 05 (iirc it was 05)to troll Brady the day he threw 3 picks to Greg Wesley and he and Troy Brown has their yelling match right in front of me. He'll get around $600 if they sell, which will make him a little profit for what he paid for both games. If we win this weekend, I'll be going with him to the AFCCG.
