Dee Ford lines up correctly, we are Super Bowl champions. I’m feeling really disappointed tonight. Way worse than after the loss in 2 weeks ago.

The Patriots have pressured Goff the way they pressured Mahomes. Again and again. Goff would have no problem stepping up. Rams tackles are their strength. Would have been a high scoring game again if it was Rams Chiefs.

That's where I am. Chiefs don't completely destroy the Rams O, but as long as Sutton and Reid don't go full fucking retard in their initial gameplan again, we win this fucking game.

I officially want Ford's ass out of here.

I don't want him tagged unless we can trade him, and I don't care what we get out of him.

I don't want him playing another down for this team ever again.

That's crazy talk... The horses are all there.. The lameass horse shoe making Black Smith just got run out of town.
And D-Ford knows he cost this team a shot in the SB.
He will be very motivated to make amends next season.
Chiefs are the next dynasty..

But I woke up this morning with a knot in my gut, knowing the Chiefs should have been playing today.

LOL

I had a few social outings today and, wherever I went, almost every single person I encountered (the ones who know I am a Chiefs fan) expressed their regret that we didn't win the AFCCG. It's crazy.

These are people who never talk football. I honestly don't think that some of them even watch football. These are strange times.

Seems like -- much like 2006 (Pats/Colts) -- the AFCCG was the real SB and either Pats or Chiefs would've beaten the Rams, who of course should never have been there to begin with due to the bad PI non-call.

Alot of people criticize the Patriots for lacking talent. That is in part because -- if you want a big, strong, smart, tough football team, you have to draft big, strong, smart, tough players. NOT THE FASTEST GUY! NOT THE FLASHIEST GUY!

You have to sacrifice the things that might make a player terrifying on some plays if you want those other things. JJ and BB discuss it a bit in the clip above.

Your supposed team just won a Super Bowl and you have no better place to be than posting on an opposing team’s message board.

Thanks for re-confirming your status as a fraudulent troll.

Sure feels that way. The AFCCG would have been even better if they didn't have these stupid OT rules in the playoffs.

I don't think any reasonable person wouldn't argue that it makes sense for playoff teams to fight it out all the way and forego the notion of determining the winner with a coin flip.

That's the feedback I've been getting ... and from people who have zero vested interest in the Chiefs.

The MVP has altered expectations. It's an incredible (almost unbelievable) fact.

Who would most fans prefer to watch ... Jared Goff folding under pressure or Mahomes fighting like a lion and making plays that have never even been attempted ... let alone made successfully?

It's weird out here, man.

It’s funny, when the Rams had a 3rd and 22, I thought “if this were the Chiefs, I would still have confidence that we could pick up the first down. But there’s no way the Rams are getting it”. What happened??? They ran a draw play, and I laughed. Mahomes is a magical unicorn!

I totally agree and I suppose I should also offer some context for my original comment, Mr. BigRedChief ...

Several of the citizen civilians I spoke with today were pissed off that Mahomes never even touched the ball in OT. They wanted to see him have an opportunity to get it done in crunch time ... or, at least, give it a shot.

That was the overall feeling of non-aligned observers. They wanted more Mahomes and felt cheated that he never got a chance in OT.

The strange part of all this is that I know these people NEVER watch football. I guess these are the types of persons who only watch the occasional night game or a playoff game or whatever.

Anyhow, these are NOT football freaks. Suddenly, these otherwise normal humans love the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes.

Yeah we would've won it all. The Rams haven't looked explosive for a long time, they barely pulled out a win against the Saints in a low scoring affair, we would've had their number even with a Bob Sutton defense, of that I have no doubt.

We wouldn't have held them to 3 points obviously. But, no one will ever be able to convince me that we wouldn't have beat the Rams and won a SB yesterday.
