It's funny that Schefter considers Harris a "weapon."

What do the Browns need Harris for? I guess just pure blocking. There's only one ball and he won't be seeing it with who they have.

In baseball, you have the 3 outcome player

Harris is that type of player in football:

Will catch an impressive TD

Will drop a quick pass

Commits a false start on a key third down

Basically what he was here, he's an athletic mismatch coming out of the 2 TE spot.

Conley should sign in Cleveland now that Perriman bailed.

Demterius Harris: drops passes right in his hands yet catches a pass 95% of people would drop. He also is good at tripping over his own feet, something he has done numerous times with an open field or direct line to the end zone

I'm glad to see him gone; but we need a backup TE... Interested to know if they are looking at those TE's in the draft. Fant, Hockensen, or Irv among others

This. But I like the way Dorsey is building that team. This is a good signing for them.

I laughed when I saw his career stats in KC. Looked like an average season for a decent TE.

Dorsey trying to build the Chiefs team in the factory of sadness.

Adding a known bungler like Harris pretty much ensures the Browns will still be the "Browns" when the game is on the line.

Trades draft capital and a young first round Safety for a WR now he signs Harris. I hope he throws Earl a 2 year 30 million contract as well.

That OBJ trade is awesome...Giants should have gotten more to be honest...Peppers is very meh.

My 8 year old shouted "Don't throw it to stone hands" every time the chiefs threw to him....obviously listened to me too much.

He did better last year, but I'm not sorry that experiment is over in KC.

We won't need a whole big bunch like that once Eric Berry returns.

And don't forget ... we have Ragland.

Every year we have players like Harris, Ford or Gaines that you just know will make a boneheaded play at the most crucial time in the game.

2 less idiots on the team now. Need to dump Murray for the clean sweep.

He was much better with Mahomes than with Smith. He's got concentration issues. I question whether or not he'll continue to improve without Mahomes.

BTW, do you guys remember the look that Mahomes gave Harris when he dropped the 3rd down dump-off pass for the utterly obvious first-down-and-more play? Can't recall the game ... maybe the Chargers? Can't remember. The soft, easily-handleable, reasonably-well-placed ball hit Harris in the numbers. Then it hit the turf.

Mahomes' expression was the epitome of disgust. Not just frustration, but sheer disgust.

I'm not sure that D. Harris had a future with the Chiefs after that particular play.

The Browns are becoming the cast off Chiefs. Wouldn't surprise me if they went and got Zombo too. They have KHunt, Incompletrius, Phillip Gaines. Wonder if they'll trade for Alex Smiff and try to coax Tamba out of retirement?

I'd rather have Schwartz, Erving, Orchard and Hyde that we got from them!
