These are the Chiefs FAs we haven't heard anything about. Do we try to retain or are they bagging groceries at Hy-Vee? The only ones I'd like to see around next year are Sherman, Devey, and perhaps Ellis. Discuss.
Allen Bailey -- 34DE
Anthony Sherman -- FB --resigned
Orlando Scandrick -- CB
Spencer Ware -- RB
Frank Zombo -- 34OLB
De'Anthony Thomas -- WR
Jordan Devey -- OL --Signed with Oak
Kevin Benjamin -- WR
Charcandrick West -- RB
Jeff Allen -- OL
Chris Conley -- WR -- signed with Jax
Terrance Smith -- ILB
Alex Ellis -- TE

Anthony Sherman -- FB - Yes, still got some good years under the belt. show up for work and actually works.

Chris Conley -- WR - The guy has all the physical tools but can't seem to produce. Patrick isn't exactly shy who he slings the rock so I'm guessing it's Chris that's the bottleneck.

About all I got.

Jordan Devey has developed into a decent utility OL. I wouldn't mind him and Sherman at the right price.

We signed a new FB, Ripkowski. Sherman aint coming back. No way we keep two.

Conley sucks. He gone.

I wonder if they've considered using the sausage as our 2nd TE? Dude can block and seems to catch what little passes go his way. I don't recall who it was that had proposed this.

Allen Bailey -- 34DE if he will sign a lot cheaper than he was before
Anthony Sherman -- FB No, we almost never use him
Orlando Scandrick -- CB No, we better upgrade the position
Spencer Ware -- RB No, we have replaced him
Frank Zombo -- 34OLB Fuck No
De'Anthony Thomas -- WR No, time to move on
Jordan Devey -- OL I don't care
Kevin Benjamin -- WR No, he sucks
Charcandrick West -- RB No, he sucks
Jeff Allen -- OL Only if he's dirt cheap
Chris Conley -- WR No, he had his chance. For ST money maybe
Terrance Smith -- ILB Was hurt all year, who knows
Alex Ellis -- TE Who?

Overall, they are a big pile of shit. I don't see Justin Houston on the list. Has he been signed?

I left Houston off the list because we announced a cut. The others are ones I haven't seen anything about.

I don't understand why we haven't signed sausage back. He did everything asked of him at a high level.

I wonder if McKenzie can be used at fullback. I could see him being one hell of a plow horse.

I really like Mr Sherman. He's not a piece of shit and I will be deeply saddened if he were to depart

The answer is Aaron Ripkowsi. Signed this offseason.

Ripkowksi was signed, IMO, as insurance against Veach telling Sausage to go out and set his market. I think KC wants and intends to bring Sherman back, but they are giving him a chance to get paid if he can. If it’s worth it for them to match, they will, and if not then they do right by the player.

Might be a good idea to bring DAT back. Not nearly as good a route runner as Hill, but can run those WR screens and sweeps and return kicks. Plus will cost little to nothing

I thought about that, too. He has the size, but I don't know about his blocking ability. That has to be taken into account.
I'm a little surprised to see Sherman still out there. Special teams ace, good blocker, good hands, and he always seems to get the tough yards when needed. Someone mentioned that maybe the team is giving him a chance to test the market and they would match. I hope that's the case.

Even though it was only one game, you must remember Albert Wilson with Mahomes was not the same as Albert Wilson with Smith.

I think for certain they're going to give Sherman a chance to maximize his earnings.

[BUEHLER445 PURE SPECULATION]
I am hoping they have a standing offer for a fairly team friendly contract that he can come back to if he doesn't like what's on the market.
[/BUEHLER445 PURE SPECULATION]

They've brought in FB competition before and I hope that's what Ripkowksi is in this case as well as an insurance policy in case he finds something.

The other side of it is that he had a couple drops later on and they went away from him. Maybe they are looking for more of a weapon out of the position.

I like Sherman though. Hope he's back.

Albert Wilson with Tannehill was much better than Wilson w Smith.

I'm curious if Conley has a good/great year with Foles or has more drops.

Detroit Lions reportedly host RB Spencer Ware on free-agent visit

Still in need of running back help behind Kerryon Johnson, the Detroit Lions are hosting Spencer Ware on a free-agent visit Monday, ESPN reported.

Ware was the Kansas City Chiefs’ starting running back in 2016, but he’s missed much of the last two seasons with injuries.

Ware did not play in 2017 after injuring his knee in the preseason, and he ran for just 246 yards in 13 games last season before suffering a season-ending shoulder injury.

The Lions are expected to emphasize the running game even more this fall under new offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell, and for now have Zach Zenner penciled in as Johnson’s primary backup.

Johnson led the Lions with 641 yards rushing last season and finished second in the NFL with a 5.4-yard-per-carry average. He missed six games late in the season with a knee injury.

Zenner, who had 265 yards on 55 carries, re-signed on a one-year deal at the start of free agency last week.

The Lions also return third-down back Theo Riddick and signed veteran Kerwynn Williams to a futures deal after the season.

Last week, the Lions hosted former Los Angeles Rams running back Malcolm Brown on a visit.
