After Tyreek tape. WestGate had us even with NE at 11 wins but now tied with Rams and Saints at 10.5. We are now 2nd highest odds to make the AFC playoffs at 5.5-1 (meaning odds we won’t aren’t very high)

"We lowered [the Chiefs] by half a win, Murray said. "But I wouldn't be shocked if Hill plays again at some point."

That's honestly fair.

Pat is great. But after the Hill and Hunt debacles, I would be relieved to see us get to 10-11 wins.

Interesting that they think he'll play again.

Wonder if that means here or?

Wonder if that means here or Cleveland?

10-11 wins would be a disappointing season in my book.

This is the year I expect this team to be great.

I don’t see this team as being any worse than last year.

Offense has gotten worse, defense has gotten better. Pretty much a wash I’d say. But teams typically benefit from big game experience and I do think we got a lot better on the coaching staff.

I think the defense will be substantially better, so I still expect an overall better team than last season's. But I know a lot of people aren't sold on that.

But why would you expect the offense to be far worse? And what does "far worse" even mean? Averaging 30/game instead of 35?

Mahomes made Albert Wilson look good. He drove on Denver's starters in Mile High in his first start with nobodies around him. Kelce/Watkins/Robinson/Hardman/Williams/etc is still a pretty solid group of weapons for a great QB to work with. O-line will likely be better with another year of experience together.

Just because you may have fewer big plays over the top doesn't mean they're suddenly going to struggle to move the chains.

I agree. The under is a no brainer here.

If we still had Peters, Hunt and Hill this team would be the overwhelming Super Bowl favorites.

The last two, not really the first

So Hill is worth a half of a win over replacement in Vegas. That might keep part of the sky from falling if he's through.
