Just met Herm Edwards - nice conversation

Sometimes during lunch or when I need a 20 minute break from the office, I'll walk next door to the Hyatt Regency at Gainey Ranch and stroll their beautiful grounds.

Today while walking around and cutting through the hotel I came across a giant meeting for the Pac-12 and who else but good 'ol Herm Edwards was sitting by himself in a corner away from everyone on the phone finishing a phone call.

Spent about 15 minutes chatting about Philly, Eagles, Andy Reid, Tyreek Hill, Mahomes, East Coast and Jersey Shore, Sixers, ESPN, Phillies, Flyers, Reading Terminal and Dinic's, Darryl Dawkins, ASU players drafted and those undrafted and signed, Phil Villipiano, and a few other things. Really nice guy and friendly.

He is meeting Andy next week.

Actually he laid back as I told him my Chiefs fandom stories and showed him some phone photos from Arrowhead and my Mahomes FB front page. Then as I asked him questions about Philly he got into some great stories and told how he and all the other sports teams hung out together as they were all doing real good. He hung with Dr J, Moses Malone, Darryl Dawkins, Henry Bibby, of Sixers, and lots of the Phillies including sitting in the dugout during some games. We talked about the Jersey Shore our mutual histories back east and what he thought about the current Chiefs team.
He adjusted well at halftime!
