They added a bitter agent years ago in an attempt to make it less palatable to humans, animals, etc. I can't imagine it tastes good! Now, I think of antifreeze as a fine wine.. The older the better!

GM's Dex-Cool is orange and contains no silicates!!! If it were me you were asking, I'd say that'd be a great choice.
