He better not?

Geez, way to make him feel appreciated lol.

I’m pretty sure we won’t need him against Jacksonville or Oakland.

Brown Bag, 2 Stroke kinda guy

Washable cotton bag. Very Caucasian with metrosexual overtones. Defines "laying a lick" much differently than most NFL players and personnel.

We have passed on drafting a decent TE several times in the last couple of years. I hope we don't pay for our lack of depth.

He sounds delightful.
( scouting report contd.)

"Average, C. W. (name withheld), pre teen squealy-girl pick with tendencies to create homoerotic end zone celebrations for the possible, annual, single visit said prospect may or may not bring to the table each season. Shows fluidity in hips when bending over and positioning ass in the general direction of oncoming defender. Finishes "happy" ( bio description, not this authors ) and provides moist towelettes to all defenders blocked".

OVERALL RATING: 1.5 W. (name withheld)s

Why not multipurpose a backup offensive lineman? They would be way better at the primary function of blocking and just need one that is a passable catcher. It would free up a roster spot and active game spot.

For example, if your backup guard is also your backup blocking tight end then you have more depth available at 3 positions each game, 4 if the guard can also play center.

I was ridiculed, specifically, for worrying about backup TE when we lost Harris and suggested it was a need heading into the draft. "Oh Noez, what will we ever do without a TE2?"

Now, I feel like Veach has been left holding the bag. I hope he has something up his sleeve.

Iíve thought that too.

Literally the only person I can think of to have done it is Belicheat. He used to line up some fucking shitty tackle in short yardage. Just crushed dudes compared to a normal TE. I remember one time they slipped him on a goal line play, but I canít remember if he caught it or not.

There's nothing wrong with a tackle-eligible play.

Hell, I think Jumbo Elliott caught a TD in 2000 or so.

Maybe he'll last longer than the previous blocking TE the Chiefs signed, John Phillips who was on the roster all of 8 days.

I could be wrong, but I’m guessing we are going to be throwing to our WR’s, TE1, more WR’s, and RB’s more than TE2.

Sweet Daddy Hate

Yeah no shit. Three tight ends are what you do when you don't have dick at receiver, or you want to run a gadget play, or you want to broadcast to the opposition that you are going to throw to a tight end.
