Wow. That’s terrible. From living his dream in the NFL to it all being taken away in an instant. Can’t even imagine.

Girlfriend was with him and suffered broken fingers.

Crazy how that happens in a wreck. One person gets bruised and banged up the other suffers life long injuries.

I couldn't tell from the video, must've been his left arm but it looked like something is wrapped up there still.

Why would they have to amputate to him out of the vehicle if he was ejected?

Why wouldn't you put more info in the thread title?

Sucks for this guy though. I couldn't imagine losing a body part, even something as small as a finger or toe.

you could get ejected and have the car land on you and get trapped under it, they did say the car rolled over several times.

Leg. Having two hands is better than having two feet. Prosthetic legs are pretty advanced while we have nothing that can even come close to replicating the dexterity of fingers and thumbs that can interface with a human body.

I know a guy who lost his right arm and left hand in an accident last year. Can't even imagine how much that must suck. A freon collection tank somehow blew up while he was working on an AC unit. One of the first responders was a former combat medic, and his knowledge of dealing with IED victims enabled him to save the guy's life. But I don't know if it would have been more merciful to just let him bleed out.

Leg, without question. That body part's functionality can be replicated quite well with a prosthetic. If you lose your hand/arm well... you just don't have it any more.

That’s why you have two. If you lose one you still have one.

Warning about Self-Confidence

13 Look here, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we are going to a certain town and will stay there a year. We will do business there and make a profit.” 14 How do you know what your life will be like tomorrow? Your life is like the morning fog—it’s here a little while, then it’s gone.
