The short version is that over 300,000 people have signed up for an event on Facebook to storm Area 51 so they can see what's inside. I suspect that most will be killed, eaten, or cast off into alternate universes, but I'm hoping that a few will make it back out to share their findings.

I visited Little Bighorn last month and toured the battlefield. They took great pains to avoid overtly saying that the Native Americans had no semblance of military tactics, but it was obvious in the descriptions. Apparently they would just mill around until someone like Crazy Horse exhorted them to charge, and then it was just chaos as they all ran the equivalent of an 11-man blitz.

But it worked. The natives won. The cavalry got overrun by sheer force and fury. And I could see the same thing happening here.

You can easily walk onto the base at the back gate(sniper hill) area but you won't get very far as you are being watched remotely and visually by the camo dudes(private security) that are tucked away in some spot just waiting for you. After arrest you will face a litany of federal charges, the first of which will carry a punishment of 6 mos in FDC for the trespassing alone. After the criminal charges you will face thousands of dollars in federal fines as well.

You might make it on the base on your time frame. You won't be leaving it on your time frame however.

There are plenty of videos where you can see right into the base with fairly decent visibility. Adventures with Christian has had some decent videos recently that you have no issue seeing the majority of the hangars and runways.

I would dive on you from your 6, just under Mach. Flipping your civilian Gladys Kravitz ass around and upsetting your girlfriend. Then a head to head pass if you were stupid/stubborn.

But if 100K people really decide it's time to storm an armed, top secret military installation, they'd get wiped out within about 15 minutes. This isn't one of those urban warfare environments where they can hide around buildings and what not - they're exposed and lacking cover. A couple A-10s and a Spooky hovering overhead will knock out about 80% of them in the first few minutes.

I would like to second those that are suggesting that this was fun when it was goofin' on the internet, but it's time for everyone to get smart and go home before a whole lot of folks be get dead. They're not gonna let you in so if your idea is that you're going to overwhelm them, that's not trespassing, that's invading a United State military base.

Well you have 100K meat shields. Given their added girth, they should excell at absorbing bullets until the main forces can attack. Lard is flammable, so we must be aware of potential fire attacks from those government pigs.

70K guys who THINK they're capable. This is good. We can use them as sacrificial pawns in some kind of feint maneuver.

40K D&D players are tough. I think if we maximize their rolls they may be able to summon an abadon or some shit. Their individual combat skills are pretty bad, but as long as their 10 sided di are functioning, they can probably use light of hope to destroy any aliens possessing evil in their souls. (I know nothing about D&D... and only D&D people would notice that)

25K of those clowns is probably useless, but we can make use of their collective tin foil mass to create an amplifying mirror to reflect the Light of hope produced if our D and D players can just get some ****ing max rolls.

The 20K women can be positioned with their male counter parts. Except the D&D players. I think the presence of women will be too much of an unusual distraction. Female D and D players will be positioned with the tinfoil mirror.

Now the 15K hippies will be positioned with the initial meat-shield. Because **** them.

12K looters is an optimistic turnout, but that's fine. They'll occupy the rear ranks to make sure any alien technology is removed from the hands of our evil government.
