I loathe preseason rankings.

It gives certain teams a leg-up on others because they look good on paper before a single snap is played.

I'd be all for having teams play a few games and then appropriately ranking them after Week 4 or 5.

Northwestern too low. Argument that they should be ranked ahead of Iowa, Nebby and Wisconsin. I believe they acquired a 5 star QB who transferred from Clemson

I actually think you are right. Iowa State should be formidable. Probably a Top 30 team is all though.
