Wow! That is just unfathomable. And on the cusp of the season?? I would be sick if I was a Colts fan. But, I'm not. And I don't feel a bit bad for them. They've had the Hall of fame careers of Unitas and Manning. They even turned losing Manning into a win by being able to draft Luck in the first place. They can suffer at QB for a change.

Deshaun-shitty HC, worst OL in NFL, team not good enough
Rivers-is literally Phillip Rivers

Which is why protecting Mahomes remains paramount. Every single year. And he has to protect himself — get the football out fast, get out of bounds, etc.

so I just looked at the Colts vs Bears box score, was curious if Luck played or not.

Then I see that the bears had Tyler Bray and Chase Daniel as the only QBs that played for them tonight.

Yeah, it's funny but it's also kind of messed up. They shouldn't be booing him. They should go and find Grigson and boo him. That's really the story. Remember before Ballard got on board the Colts had a revolving door at OL.

I might have the number wrong, but in Luck's first 70 career games he had something like 35 different starting offensive lines. That's a joke. Combine that with all the other terrible moves Grigson made (Trent Richardson)... just wasted a generational talent.

In the back of my mind though, there’s a feeling that maybe I should have seen this coming.

He’s 29, financially set for life, just got married, wife is pregnant. He’s never been what I would call a football junky. Plus, you have the cryptic comments from Irsay the past 2 years, about Andrew “working through this”, and the space between the ears comment. I think maybe Irsay had an idea something like this may happen.

The timing is just awful though. Week 3 of the preseason? Damn. I now believe he’s been healthy all along and the Colts were just giving him time to try and work through this. Obviously, if his hearts not in it, he can’t continue. Not in the NFL.

So barring injuries, the Pats & Us are destined to clash once again in the AFCCG. Seriously. Who else is a contender in the conference?

Steelers are likely to contend without the circus sideshow.

The Texans will probably be the 9-7 squad that limps into the divisional round from the South.

I'd say it'll be a four-team show between NE, KC, PIT and LAC. Everyone else is just fodder.

I think Luck may return in 1-2 years.

He’s still young and if he feels healthy in a year, it will be interesting to see if his desire to play returns.

Reich and Ballard have said for the better part of two years now that Brissett is a genuine NFL caliber starter.

I don’t see it(holds on to the ball too long, mediocre accuracy), but I guess we’re fixing to find out.

Based on my entire lifetime of almost 30 years as a Chiefs fan. Winning 2 doesn't sound all that bad. Not many QBs win more than that.

Well that was one each for each QB. You are probably right but Favre and Rodgers were pretty crazy talented.

I would imagine if you asked most Chiefs fans they're expecting at least 2 or more. It's hard though because you need a halfway decent defense to win.

Nope. He’ll be well into his next career in two years. He’s done with football.

Kind of wacky how one news story can turn a game from maybe competitive to an easy win in my addled brain.

Will the Colts be offering a refund to season ticket holders?

No one is plunking down several grand to watch Jacoby Brisket.

And when that guy sucks hard this year, he's going to get booed because he's not Andrew Luck.

That really sucks for that guy. And the rest of the Colts.

Fuck Andrew Luck.

Unless he has a life threatening disease or severe depression, he signed a contract and he just hung everyone in Indianapolis that has anything to do with the Colts out to dry.

You don't do this shit two weeks before the regular season.

Fuckin' pussy.

To the Donks...Horseface has been dreaming of this scenario for 4 years. It's all he knows..

Luck is still young by QB standards...has about 8 years give or take.

Get his body right after 2 years off...

He'll be back at some point...when QBs are making $50 million per.

I think Freddie Kitchens is a real wild card. We just don't know how he's going to be as a head coach. He could be great but we just don't know.

Nope. They have 2 years before Baker gets paid. We all know that Dorsey will **** them when money gets tight LMAO

It’s Pat and Brady and that’s it.

If Andy does not get this team to a Super Bowl in the next 3 years, he needs to commit Seppuku.

I don't think they are going to be bad enough to get the #1 pick.

That's Arizona's place man. They'll be picking a QB #1 overall for a 2nd straight year.

Dude. It's been four years of serious injury/rehab, injury/rehab.

He's hurt now. Can't play. How long until he would've? who knows.

He got crushed his first four years, shitty management, no talent around him, shit offensive lines.

He doesn't owe anyone shit. He's allowed to be able to walk at 35.

It’s kind of obvious now that the team knew something was up. Brissett didn’t play at all tonight.
Doesn't take a genius to figure out that a pill popping Irsay leaked that shit to the media to get back at him for saying fuck this shit. The dude hadn't even told the players yet.

I think probably he was going to have to go through more rehab and this pussy, who last time I checked didn't have a fucking optimus prime around his leg like Alex Smith, just said 'fuck it, thanks for the signing bonus, we out.'

Fuck that guy, if so.

Andrew Luck lost his love for the game and decided to be a huge pussy and make season ticket holders who plunked down thousands of dollars this offseason enjoy Jacoby Brissett for what will surely be 16 shit-filled tacos of regular season AIDs.

The customer is always right.

Irsay is an odd dude. He’s an old hippy in a modern world.

But he’s not a bad owner. If anything, he’s too loyal. He stuck with Grigson and Pagano for at least 3 years to long.

I think he's a guy who's been brutalized and he's sick of it, yeah.

He's walking away from 20 something million dollars.

The timing sucks, but people act like he owes them something. Fuck off, this is his life, man. If he wants to walk away while he can still actually walk, then good for him.

Sucks if you're an Indy fan, but fuck, man. For four years, he's been in an injury/rehab cycle.

All these guys calling him a pussy wouldn't have been able to stand a tenth of what he has.

This is a BRUTAL sport. The players have every right to walk away when they want to. If you don't understand that, you're a fucking child.
