As Antonio Brown adjusts to his move from Oakland, California, to Foxborough, Massachusetts, Tom Brady is opening his doors to his new, high-profile teammate.
"I'd love for him to stay at my house," Brady told USA Today's Jarrett Bell after the New England Patriots' 33-3 Week 1 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. "He's got a lot of stuff going on, but if he wants to, he's welcome."
NBC's Al Michaels had said on the "Sunday Night Football" broadcast that the Patriots approached Brady about signing Brown, who was released from the Oakland Raiders on Saturday after a tumultuous six-month stint, and that after Brady approved, he told Brown to move in with him.
Brady and his wife, Gisele Bundchen, put their home in Brookline, Massachusetts, up for sale in August for $39.5 million. The five-bedroom house sits on a lot next to a golf course and includes a guest house.
According to Bell, Brady appeared serious about the offer, but it wasn't clear whether he meant Brown would stay in the guest house.
