Is there any way to pressure CBS to keep the Eagle/Fouts team away from Chiefs games?

I’m not adept at social media and just curious if a fan base has enough pull. Eagle is harmless but Fouts is a complete abortion of a broadcaster. I’d rather have Jason Witten and Bruce Arians announce the games FFS. And before you suggest, I can’t get the radio broadcast to syncs with the television broadcast so that’s currently not an option.

At the end of the day he's still Dan Fouts, and he should be thrown out of a plane with no parachute, a gun with no bullets, and an empty capsule labeled cyanide, but he wasn't bad at all last week. He even ruled in favor of the Chiefs on the challenges and blew Mahomes' (huge) cock all game.

Fouts is terrible, but for some reason he's got a white-noise voice that's easy for me to ignore. I usually don't even notice that he's talking until I hear Ian Eagle's correction of him afterward.

The networks have a bunch of east coast dunces all bunched up in NYC that have no concept of flyover country. All they know I think is that Fouts played for a old AFL team so that will suffice for us hillbillies. The letters and emails of irate Chiefs fans is a thimble full compared to ocean of bad complaints that the Giants Eagles Jets Rams Chargers 49ers etc would bombard them if they had a biased team call their games.

Yessir. You can pause it, and the tv. I usually listen for the whistles on the radio to hit the play button on TV.

But, you will be amazed how much tv delays, even on the fly. I’ve had perfect syncs only to have TV jam in that extra promotion and throw it off by 15 seconds.

If you want to go the extra mile, shut off or disconnect the center channel speaker. You will hear the crowd, whistles, etc without the announcers. It’s awesome.

Eagle/Fouts are the #2 team for CBS, so unless you guys are the game of the week that has the #1 team (Nantz/Romo), you have the top team on CBS covering your games.

So it might be a bummer you get these announcers that you do not like, at least CBS is showing you how much they think about the Chiefs having their #2 team cover your games.

I usually do not really notice the announcers but there were several times during the game this week where Fouts had a wrong name, or made a stupid comment. At one point he mentioned someone "fighting through the line" to get to the QB. On replay, the guy was untouched. :shake:

I do not think he seems as bad to other fan bases, so it would look silly to complain, especially when Ian Eagle is perfect for calling plays from the Chiefs offense.

Last year's week 1 against Chargers , Ian Eagle was great on the two Tyreek Hill 1st quarter TDs on the short pass and the punt return.
