The people that don’t have natural talent have to work and grind. They generally have a much better approach to seeing things from another perspective instead being afflicted with tunnel vision.

Mike Matheny would've let Tony Cruz come over to his house and fuck his sister.

Dude was a gold glove catcher and didn't seem to recognize that Cruz, a converted 3b, couldn't do basic high school catcher shit. Didn't set targets, moved WAY too much, had poor footwork. He was an objectively awful defensive catcher yet someone who should've known better simply couldn't see it.
