Hints on your final three.

Adding to the hints.

1. Most senior guy is a running back who is long retired but remains active promoting the Chiefs and didn't have to move very far to join the Chiefs. We once drafted a famous running back from there who didn't sign with the team. You can pretty much ride a bike there from Arrowhead if you take water with you.
2. Most senior guy was a highly drafted defensive lineman with a problem, but it was his linemate who served time. Perhaps our biggest draft lost opportunity came from this school.
3. Most senior player was a journeyman player who came from the 49ers but wasn't a quarterback. You'll never get this school. Public university in California that's named after a city.

Oh, nice one. I didn't think anyone would get San Jose State. They've produced 15 Chiefs, but none with a long career.

Rain Man

Rain Man

San Jose is super surprising. Would never have gotten it without the hints.

Yeah, it's an odd one. If you look at the list of alums (and the seasons they were with the Chiefs), there's not a lot of history there. Siglar is the most senior guy, but Deberg is probably the most well-known.

DeBerg, Steve QB 1988-1991 San Jose State 4
Julien, Jarmar RB 2002 San Jose State 1
Saxon, James RB 1988-1991 San Jose State 4
Thomas, Jewerl RB 1983 San Jose State 1
Thomas, Ken RB 1983 San Jose State 1
Nash, Kenny WR 1987 San Jose State 1
Roche, Brian TE 1998 San Jose State 1
Siglar, Ricky OT 1993-1996,98 San Jose State 5
Manumaleuga, Frank LB 1979-1981 San Jose State 3
Peterson, Bill LB 1975 San Jose State 1
Carter, M.L. DB 1979-1981 San Jose State 3
Cocroft, Sherman DB 1985-1987 San Jose State 3
Owens, Chris DB 2014 San Jose State 1
Taylor, Jay DB 1993-1994 San Jose State 2
West, Lyle DB 2002-2003 San Jose State 2

I remember Jarmar Julien solely for his biceps. He had very impressive biceps.

As bonus material, here are the teams that have produced the most seasons of Chiefs. Kansas, San Jose state, Clemson, and Oregon drop on this list because their players didn't last long, while Michigan State, Tennessee, SMU, Grambling, Minnesota, Washington, Ohio State, and Texas A&M move up due to producing players with longer careers.

The top six schools have averaged one player on the Chiefs' roster in every year of the Chiefs' existence.

Did you have a way to look up the answers in the event of a dispute?

Maybe in the offseason I'll have a draft of colleges for Chiefs players. Draft a school and you get all of the players from it, and we'll see who builds the best team.

Not really, except for calling home and a 2011 ESPN almanac that had some players colleges. He was very proud of knowing Jerry Rice and TO's colleges. My goto stumper to get people was Marques Colsten.
