He's tired of getting head coach interviews and is using this season to dissuade teams from calling him in

Crazy how guys like Tyreek and Hester and cover up for his failings. When he gets a more typical returner, he gets exposed for the fraud that he is.

They couldn't even get the kick off twice in a row to close the game out, that's a total failure and unforgiveable. If Butker misses them both, whatever but to not even have a chance is much worse to me.

Coming up soon, The Toub Rule, where you have to interview a special teams coach you have zero interest in hiring, and belly laugh over drinks at the thought of, for any head coach vacancy.

You'd think the holder would know what to do in the event of a bad snap. You know, like maybe it would have come up in practice at some point. Maybe don't make a bad situation worse by throwing the ball into the second row and get a grounding penalty. Those yards probably wouldn't have made any difference but you never know.

Yeah that was just weird. I was like...oh shit, a trick play until the ball kept sailing toward nobody. But it has to be a case of Colquitt panicking and just fucking up. I can't imagine Toub hasn't covered bad snap scenarios.

Bad snap/intentional grounding penalty on a FG attempt that could have essentially iced the game, a blocked FG that could have sent the game into OT, a missed extra point, Mecole's continued bad decisions on punt returns (fair catching the ball at the 3 yard line), special teams penalties... anything we are forgetting to put on Taub's HC candidacy highlight reel from today?

I wondered if maybe the drill is for Butker to get out there, and he didn't do it. He's the only guy who would know that there's a problem. It would make sense for him to not know what to do since he'd never encountered such a situation, and it seems like I've seen botched snaps on other teams where the kicker flares out.

Today's on the players... Toub screamed at Mecole when he came of the field after fair catching it at the 3. Winchester and/or Colquitt screwed up the snap. Made a 3 yard difference with the intentional grounding being called. The last FG was an absolutely perfect jump by the defense, and no you don't change up the snap there, that's a great way to make it a 57 yard field goal. It was a great play by their end and rather fortunate. We did a great job on kick off returns to day as well and we had really good kickoff returns over the 30 twice.

Only thing I'm pissedd that Toub actually had control over was not putting Tyreek back there on the last kick.

I got yelled at for having the same opinion. I guess statistics don't back us up, but our ST play has been on a very noticeable decline.....in my eyes at least.

It was a perfect jump even if you think you know the cadence... If you change the cadence you could easily move to a 57 yard field goal attempt...
