View Full Version : Chiefs Let's talk about the Bears

TLO

The Donks have been swept away, and now we look forward to the Bears.

Hopefully this game gets flexed out of the Sunday night spot.

Chiefs open as 4 point favorites.

Discuss.

I don't understand how losing yesterday makes this their Super Bowl.

It’s their last chance to win a game on a national stage against a quality opponent. Sometimes teams get up for that. I can’t imagine they’re too happy about having their playoff dreams die at the hands of their biggest rival. They may be pissed and want to take it out on us. Depends on how much personal pride they have.

Megatron96
12-16-2019, 06:20 PM
I think the Bears' defense will probably play with some pride, at least early on. But the offense might just throw in the towel before half-time, especially if they struggle and the Chiefs roll up a two TD lead. Players are going to start making business decisions if and when they get down by multiple scores.

And as bad as their OL has been this season, we'll get a lot of pressure on Tru-Biscuit and he'll inevitably start throwing some picks. Once we get a couple easy short-field scores, the Bears offensive gameplan will fall apart, and that will be that.

Rasputin
12-16-2019, 06:25 PM
I like deferring to the second half.

Putting their offense on the field first and making a stop then put up quick 7 points demoralize them from the start. That's good football I like to see from the NFL team called Kansas City Chiefs.

I think there will be a lot of Chiefs red in the stands Sunday night. Now that the Bears are officially out, a lot of folks will sell their tickets and avoid the cold.

I want to see more TD's than FG's. We are kicking too many FG's lately, we need to get TD's when we get in the redzone.

Jump on the Bears early and bury them. They will be thinking ahead to the offseason, and the fight will leave them quick if we grab a quick lead.

And he can make plays with his legs, something that has given this defense problems and we haven’t had to deal with that since the Titans game.

Trap game

A trap game is one where you overlook a weaker opponent this week because your focus is on a far more formidable opponent in a more important game next week. Chargers in a worthless week 17 game. Really?

Why Not?

Holy shit I didn’t realize they gave away picks that got these players. This is going to go down as one of the worst trades in NFL history
