My Nephew is really into Scuba diving.....going thru all the certifications. He actually came down here to FL to do some training with another group. They were diving in a couple of pretty cool places.

What did you haul in? I got some scuba stuff myself. New pony bottle/reg/PSI gauge setup and some strobes for my camera. Stoked to take it out diving on New Year’s Day.

I dove Naples Harbor, in the 80s, sickest I've ever been in my life. It was so bad that I lost nearly 20 pounds in a week and was dabbing my fire-ass. Rivers in Central America didn't have shit on that harbor! I'd dive Party Cove, If Naples didn't kill me, nothing will!

But much credit goes to Italy/Naples, word is that they've cleaned the harbor in an epic way...

Fla is full of fun dives, especially in the Keys. Tell him to keep getting the certifications, if nothing else you get to dive to get them!

Last bit of advice, tell him to do rescue diver. Hands down it's one of the best courses a diver can take.

Dry suit... Wear good undergarments (and Depends [if you don't have a Pee-valve]) and no worries... It takes more time and planning but it's worth it. Plus, if you're ever going to dive the Great Lakes or places like Norway, and you DO want to dive those places, you'll prolly need the skills.
