Both of these coaches have experienced massive collapses. Reids team surrendered a 28 point lead in the third quarter by pressing the attack with Alex Smith against the Colts and a sign of things to come with Grandpa Bob not being able to stop anything.
Shanarat as the O coordinator saw a 25 point lead evaporate against the pats for pressing the attack with MVP Matt Ryan, Dan Quinn does his best Grandpa Bob impression and his d stops nothing, and the MVP takes the dumbest sack in the history of the world, followed by a holding penalty on the next play to keep them out of FG range that would have iced the game.
Shanarat and Reid both were blasted for not running the ball with the lead.
I believe the Chiefs have the edge in this game if Shanarat gets a lead and is afraid to throw the football because of past demons.
Andy wont need to run the ball, and theres no way he turtles up with a lead in this game. He will put it in the best player on the planets hands, and let the chips fall where they may. Nobody will question putting the ball in Pats hands.
Were Andy to take the ball out of Pats hands, and turtle up and eventually lose, it would cement his legacy as a guy who just didn't understand what to do in that moment to win.
I think Andy will be the aggressor, and Shanarat will just try to turtle up.
