When someone takes a plea deal it's "usually" fair to assume he's guilty of "something" (Referring to what happened in college).

The hatchet job KCTV5 tried last spring was nothing short of despicable. They're explanation after the fact questionable at best.

Reality turns out not only is the dude likable but it's also plausible he's guilty of nothing beyond a dysfunctional relationship or two which is no crime at all. I hope the dude is Super Bowl MVP.
