One sack and two QB hits is a good night.

Its funny.

I recalled his post game comments after the AFC championship game and how he said the Chiefs were the best team in the world and that he was going to get the SB ring on his finger and after they’d all know who he is.

Sure enough, he gets the final sack to seal SB victory.

Frank Clark sure backed it up. Dude is a closer.

That last incomplete was just as 'in the grasp' as his previous sack was.

Until the 4th quarter. Suddenly he penetrates and dominates.

He's the exact opposite of Houston who seemed to tire late. It seems Jones saves gas for the 4th quarter and then splooges...

I have mixed feelings about JH. I loved him while he was here and hated seeing him get cut. With that said, IIRC, there was a lot of talk the Chiefs went in with the intention to re-structure. If his goal was to go towards the best contract, I totally get it - but if that’s the case, he can’t be mad at KC for this outcome. Hey, he got to show up the home crowd and our bench earlier this year, though!

Frank Clark ripped Garoppolo.

“You paying the guy $140 million, $130 million, whatever he’s getting paid, man,” Clark said, via Brian Witt of NBCSportsBayArea.com. “He’s gotta throw the ball. Obviously he didn’t do that. They threw for about 200 yards on checkdowns; that ain’t enough to win a game against us.”

100% correct.

When the Chiefs are ahead in the 4th quarter, Jones knows its mostly passing plays so he is just going to work on his pass rush, and sometimes he sheds a guy and finds the running back, rather than the QB.

Frank Clark is a great player, but lets be honest. Those two sacks at the end of the Tenn game and Niner game was just garbage time.

His attitude is the best thing about him though. Justin Houston was more quiet at least it felt like, but Frank Clark is so savage and takes no prisoners.

How does being mistaken make anyone dumb? I was wrong, it wasn't the Super Bowl, but it was the other two playoff games.

It was 35-24 with 1:28 left in the 4th quarter when Clark got his sack against Tennessee.

It was 51-31 with 1:40 left in the 4th quarter when Clark got his sack against Houston.

We just wont the Super Bowl. Why do we need to resort to name calling?

You obviously don't realize the significance behind those sacks..

The fact that you are trying to marginalize the man's plays makes me think you've never played football.

There is a reason they say the game is 90% mental.

Those sacks are just stat padding. In fact, alot of analytical services even discount or entirely remove stats accrued in garbage time because they do not matter to wins and losses.

He had plenty of sacks and plays that mattered way way more than those plays, I'm just helping you all see your bias and paint the most accurate picture of his overall play.

To say he closed the last 3 games out with a sack is definitely correct though, but only 1 of those sacks at the end of the game (The Super Bowl) really made a difference in the game.

If the game was 90% mental, then the most fiery, motivated & smart people on Chiefsplanet would be NFL players.
