Discuss.

An awful run in Washington, but is he worth a look as a reclamation project?

Not gonna pay him the salary he will want.

Unless he wants to sign a Breeland-type 1 year deal to chase a ring, then no thanks

I'm not high on Norman, but I do think cap casualties are an area for the Chiefs to find some good short term bargains. Some of these guys need exactly what the Chiefs can provide them, a successful high profile season so they can earn one more big payday. See Breeland last year. I think the Cardinals will cut Patrick Peterson to save 12M on the cap. Maybe the Honey Badger can work his magic there. I also think some cheap options like Nick Easton (center) with NO who saw them draft his replacement last year might be wise move if he is released. Hell, I wouldn't mind taking a flyer on Mohamed Sanu if the price is right and the Pats cut him to save some money.

Short term one or two year contracts with guys in their late 20's early 30's is what I'd be looking for.

Don’t sign any ring chasers on the defensive side of the ball before discussing it with HB and Clark.

I’d say no unless he’s willing to take a super low salary.

Overrated. For his entire career.

In his mid to late 20's? Sure

At 32? Hard pass.

We're Super Bowl champions, we got Breeland paid, he'll see the truth.

Our track record with aging CB's trying to bounce back after a down year is not good.

He probably wants one last major payday as well.

I love Josh Norman ever since he talked shit to Odell Beckham got him all shook. But his time is done and gone.

we just won the superbowl and have the hottest gun in the NFL.

We dont need to bottom feed for some slug released, we will have studs who want to play here, crave being able to play on a team this potentially explosive

Are we more likely to keep Fuller, Breeland, or neither?

I just wish we could bring back all the guys that got us the championship. Minimal roster turnover means we'd be even better this year.

Josh Norman already got his big pay day, he's now at the stage where he signs for cheap with a winner to try to get a ring.

Also the guy who the Chiefs should probably look at as a possible reclamation project that makes since for us and him.....David Johnson.

Right now I'd say neither but I put Breeland at like 5% and Fuller at maybe 20% to return.

I like Fuller. He's younger and I think he'll be more affordable. Breeland appears to be looking for a big pay day.

A star CB would really cap this defense off, nabbing one would be a coup in our cap scenario.

The Cards have no options with Johnson. He’s on that team. They aren’t taking a $16 million hit in dead cap just to dump him.

Paul Richardson got released also.

Just came to post this.

Now that’s an intriguing option. I liked Richardson a lot in Seattle and he definitely didn’t have the QB play in Washington that he would here. Put him with Pat in this offense and you get the Paul Richardson we saw with Wilson.

We don’t need divas like him on the team.

Perfect for a 1 year prove it deal. Either him or Albert Wilson (who will get cut and I’d gladly take back on a 1 year deal)

Short term one or two year contracts with guys in their late 20's early 30's is what I'd be looking for.

Sanders is who I would be looking at if Watkins rolls...he's a clutch WR and perfect for a 2 year cheap rental. He was the best player on the Donks before requesting a trade...Chiefs need a possession WR.

Mahomes is going to draw in a lot of veterans that want a shot at a ring.

want 22 year old corners not 32. moving on

why not both?

I'm not specifically sold on Norman; but a saavy vet that could even at this stage in his career do the hybrid CB/safety role that Fuller played down the stretch along with a rookie draftee seems like a solid, smart strategy.

And I'd have no problem with that.

Pat can take a guy like Sanders and make him into everything we got/needed from Sammy for pennies on the dollar.

He was too...Sutton only came on after he left.

Chiefs need a polished vet @#2 and Sanders has great hands...

Pats fans were really disappointed when they didn't get him...and had to settle for Sanu. He would have been great in the Pats offense...

Water under the bridge...IRC, they were trying to get him after the season where Smith threw ZERO TDs to WRs....****ing ZERO. Still cant believe that actually happened...

I would have went with Manning too...:)

I do wonder how much they like Alex Brown. He got some PT the last few games of the year and played in all of the post season games on ST.

Ward
Fenton
Brown
Draft pick

Pretty set at corner

I’d still like to see another guy like Breeland. One year deal to help the team and rebuild his value.

"Josh Norman is bad. He's 32 and always had a bad athletic profile and it's been in steep decline since 2017. He's been cooked in coverage the last two seasons:"
