The rules for this one are as follows:

1. Vote for two starters at safety and two starters at cornerback
2. Vote for a nickel back who is NOT one of the four people you picked above.
3. Vote for a dime back who is NOT one of the five people you picked above.
4. Vote the bonus question as requested.

The starters will be the four guys who got the most votes at their position.

The nickel back will be the non-starter who got the most votes when adding the nickel votes plus starter votes. Corners will receive a 1.5 multiplier on starting votes since there are more corners in the poll.

The dime back will be the non-starter who got the most votes when adding the starter, nickel, and dime votes. Corners will receive a 1.5 multiplier on starting votes since there are more corners in the poll.

I went Ward over Thornhill, but it was very close

This one was difficult due to all the moving parts.

I had to pick Berry and Mathieu as the starting safeties. I went with Peters and Sean Smith at CB, Flowers at nickel and Breeland as the dime, but that doesn't really suit Breeland's strengths very well.

I'd like Peters, Berry, Mathieu and Sean Smith as my base starters. For the nickel defense I'd keep Peters, Smith and Berry in their original spots and move Mathieu to nickel and bring Flowers on as the dime.

Breeland would be the first CB off the bench to replace one of the outside guys. His lows are pretty low but he's prone to making splash plays that Sean Smith just basically never made so he's got value.

I can forgive Berry since he at least didn't dog it on the field. But man, I can't bring myself to vote for Peters. I just keep seeing him backing away from a running back and forcing other players to cover his responsibilities. That's unforgivable.

I went with Mathieu and Berry at safety, Sean Smith and Ward at CB, and then Flowers at nickel and Thornhill at dime. I was torn between Thornhill, Breeland, and Carr in that dime spot, or maybe even Peters since there's not much running in dime situations. I had lots of good options there, because basically anyone on the list could be on the field and hold his own.

And obviously if it's a really important down, you always put Sorensen in there since you know he'll make a big play when it matters most.
