Chiefs add more to Kafka's title, Andy Hill joins staff

Chiefs promote quarterbacks coach Mike Kafka, adding Passing Game Coordinator to his title. Longtime Mizzou assistant Andy Hill joins the staff as assistant special teams coach. Hill worked at Mizzou with #Chiefs special teams coordinator Dave Toub.

Our next HC currently isn’t on the staff. Andy will coach for as long as possible, which should be for at least 10 more years barring a health scare. Kafka won’t be here very much longer.

Tons of offensive assistants have gotten head coaching opportunities without being the primary play caller.

Case in point: Andy Reid himself never called plays for the Packers.

If you look at the Schaffer tweets they didnt block him from being The OC. Andy just told Kafka he'd get an extra title if he stayed.
