“[He says] just come up there [to Kansas City], man,” Harris Jr. recently told TMZ. “Play with him, be able to do what I’ve done in the past — play everywhere on the field, and also play with a great quarterback.”

Intriguing! But it's really hard to imagine KC signing Mahomes, Jones, and CHJR all in the same offseason.

Well, bye(former teammate)

He wasn't elite this past year. He's about to turn 31.

I'd rather just spend that money on Fuller.

If he wants to come play on a reasonable 1 or 2 year deal to try and grab another ring, sure, why not?

But from everything I’ve read and heard he’s looking to get PAID, and KC will not be the ones to break the bank for him.

KC should focus on re-signing Fuller, a young ascending DB with versatility, who won’t break the bank.

30 isn't too old.

It is for the contract he wants.

No thanks

He is best defending the slot. That is where Mathieu often lines up. Harris is pedestrian on the outside.

Does not compute.

if he's cheap, then cool. But I don't really want to break the bank on a 31 year old corner.

Show us where he has said what he wants in a contract to play for the Chiefs.

I'd take him in a second. He and Mathieu would set the tone back there. Sign CHJ in free agency and draft a corner early you've got one of the best secondaries in the NFL.

Do you guys know ANY corners who are very effective after 31 years old? I sure don't.

And a DL that can be a brick wall against the run if we re-sign Pennell.

I will bet anything that KC does not sign him. He is going to want one last big deal and a team will give it to him, but if you think that team will be us, then you haven't paid any attention to what Veach does. Veach is not going to give a big contract to a corner that will be 31 at the start of the season. That is how you end up paying a guy shit tons of money to suck shit. Veach doesn't give out bad contracts, because he is smart. This has absolutely no chance whatsoever to happen, unless he played on a 1 or 2 year deal making $5 mil a year and that has no chanve of happening.

Which is why you wont see 200 million tied up on 2 d line players.

Yep. Would rather find a way to keep Breeland.
