Teams need to cut bait with run of the mill QB's more. Yes you might get worse. But the worst thing you can do is permanently link yourself to an average QB and pay him way to much money.

Draft a new QB every single year if you have to until you find "the one". You can figure it out 90% of the time after one year if they are going to be worth a shit. And 99% after year 2.

We know Rosen and Haskins don't have it. We now now that Baker Mayfield doesn't have it. Wash your hands of it and move on or you will just see Mahomes slinging it all over the field and the Chiefs up in your fans, players & front offices domes.

Someone commmented this on the STRIB. My god

The Vikings leadership think exactly NONE of the incoming QB's via the draft are guaranteed to be Super Bowl QB's. Especially in their first 2-3 years. Are 2 or 3 of them worth a top draft pick? Certainly. What do you think it will cost them to move into a position to make that happen?

Very few watched Mahomes play college football every week and were clamoring on how those skills would guarantee to explode in the NFL. Also, he hit 1 pass in this years Super Bowl and to his credit he hit it and it changed everything. Prior to that the story for him would have been under performing in big games and being out played by the old QB last year and a game manager this year.

Okay. I know it's one idiot out of many. But still. I hope the Vikings continue to get fucked by the Packers every year, and in the years when they're the better team, I hope they implode in the NFC Championship game like they always do.

Let THEM die.

That's easy for the fans to say. A coach or GM only gets to do that once or twice and he's fired though. That's where the problem comes in.

Not every GM gets to be John Elway and get 5 chances to find a QB

I would guess he has seen one Chiefs game. The SB. The SB is always strange and teams rarely get to play their game plan. We finally did with 7:34 left in the 4th.

I don't know who Kevin is, but he's a giant DICK to poor Kirk in all of these commercials. Why does Kirk keep hanging out with him?

For his talent he has maximized his earnings. Run his career 100 times what % of the time does he make over 125 million?

I mean, I'd give him 10% of the time. Those Redskins teams weren't exactly loaded, but it did take the team drafting injury prone RGIII for him to get his start. Had he been drafted behind a steady healthy veteran, he probably wanders the NFL landscape as a backup. MAYBE a desperate team trades for him, gives him low-end starting money, and not much time to prove himself with a lackluster surrounding cast. That wouldn't crack $125 million.
