I think Cam is meant to be in the LA market and the Chargers are in need of a QB. You only have to keep him one year. If he is broken and you tank you get to win Trevor Lawrence as a prize.

The Panthers Instagram account posted basically implying that Cam requested the right to seek a trade. Cam commented that it was misleading, saying he never wanted to be traded but they were forcing the issue. Greg Olsen then commented on Cam's comment saying "This sounds familiar", so I'm guessing he had a similar problem with the org.

Imagine controlling a billion dollar franchise and not just having the balls to come out and say you agreed to part ways with a couple aging stars.
