Sketchy...

Are they silver dollars? Or an ounce of silver in each coin? It says both on the coin but it can't be, has to be one or the other.

It's a collection of 12 coins, what are they charging for the set? I don't see a price anywhere.

Hoo boy.

$109/coin + $6 shipping. You only get one every other month so it will take 2 years to build your collection.

Just checked the price of silver. Thought it would be up, but it's way down instead - $12.83 as of right now.

So these assholes want you to pay $109 a piece for $13 worth of silver with a little picture painted on it. Plus shipping and handling.

Yeah, I'm thinking not.

Stay the fuck away from this bullshit in the collectibles market. There is not any real value in it other than the weight of the silver.

You want to spend $1300 on a Chiefs type collectible. There are plenty of high end Mahomes patch/auto RC's out there. That could make you a fortune down the line.

The value of silver will be bound by a low end market price. Ask the Hunt family about trying to corner the silver market.

I have an older relative who "invested" his money on stuff like this 40 years ago. His stuff was actual commemorative pieces from the u.s. mint , and not third party stuff, so it was a bit more legitimate than coins like this. A few years ago he asked me what it was all worth, and I went through his collection and looked it all up. Every single piece was worth less than the inflationary value of just sticking it into a low interest savings account. I felt bad for him, because he thought it was worth a lot of money.

Without reading the pamphlets that came inside the envelope, i just posted that before i fell asleep this morning. I wanted to see what you guys thought. I just now read the entire letter. 12 coins at $115 a piece, holy hell that's expensive. I figured it was $115 for everything.
Wasn't sure if anyone else here got this same thing in the mail. Now I'm definitely not going to get it, if it was $115 for all 12 coins I would have bought it.

I’d only invest in a Long John Silver Dollar.

I moved most of my stocks into Mahomes collectibles after the Super Bowl.

I got this in the mail as well.
Went right into the shredder.....and it pained me to watch Mahomes' visage slowly move down into oblivion.

How many Brady Contender RC autos would you have passed over 17yrs ago for $1300?

Probably every one of them. Some people didn't though.

Graded GM MT 10.... marketed right, 200-250K now .

There can be crazy prices in some of the collectible market. Zion Williamson in basketball is through the roof. His RC cards this year in the right products are fetching 20-30-40-50K. His cards aren't even a year old.
