I grew up right across the street from 7th Heaven. Watched that place really grow from a tiny record shop to all its glory. I spent so many hours there, knew everyone that worked there and it paid off as I used to get killer line numbers for concert tickets.

Tough ordeal that happened there with 1 of his employees in that store a few years ago. Those few blocks of Troost seem to make the news every few months. I go to Wings in Things about a mile down the road but not much else over there now that Mama Tios closed last year.

The malls, restaurants and bars are all slowly re-opening in SLC and they’re pretty full surprisingly. I ended up eating at a mall food court yesterday for my lunch break here and it was pretty packed actually. I didn’t walk around the mall, but I could see the Hallmark store was open so I’m assuming a lot of the other stores were opening as well.
