According to Matt Derrick this puts him on track to be ready to go for the start of the season.

Getting a guy like that back will be huge.

Thornhill and Gay make this defense MUCH faster. Throw in Sneed when he’s ready, and you’re really talking.

While the Raiders and Broncos are trying to copy our speed on offense, we’re getting faster on defense.

Our d should be pretty damn good.

Yea I forgot to mention Okafor too.

He’s a guy that was really coming along before the injury. He was better than Suggs last year, he just needs to stay healthy. Hopefully he has one healthy season left in him.

Let’s hope he doesn’t try to push it. This is the time in recovery when players try to push it and have setbacks. It would be amazing to get him back for the beginning of the season, if they can figure a way to actually play football this year.

Yep.
Our D will be even better than last year's. Juan missed the playoffs so having him, Gay and Sneed is like adding 3 new starters. And these guys are intense ballers. You add CEH running the ball, good luck to the rest of the league because you will need that and a lot more.

I think I made it 15 seconds through that vid before I lost interest. Am I turning into the new Milkman?

Fantastic. As with every year, we just gotta pray for good health to our most important players. Hope he comes back like a monster.

Thornhill is a pretty good name for a defensive player

Hopefully we go through 2020 with minimal injuries. We all know they happen and cringe every time but we also seemed to have our injured players occur early in the season and then they all came back except a few.

The big thing is keeping guys off the IR list......

I'm excited to see what we can get out of Taco as well. Sometimes it takes the right coaches and Defensive leaders to get the most out of someone.

God I'd Kill for a MLB right now.

We need another DJ.

That guy was golden and a shame he got stuck on some pretty shitty teams. Imagine him here now in his 3rd or 4th year? JFC that would probably give me all day orgasms. LMAO

You almost forget now that losing Thornhill was supposed to be a fatal blow to the Chiefs defense in the playoffs.

Lol what? I don’t remember that narrative.

I actually always expected him to be ahead of schedule due to his size and athletic prowess.

I've thought all a long there was a much better shot of him being ready from the start than the guys injured before him like Rankin, Speaks, Okafor.

I fully expect that the interruption in routine, what will be a very abbreviated training camp and weird if at all pre-season will result in a LOT of injuries league-wide. I don't see how it's possible it doesn't.

But we're in pretty good shape depth-wise, and it will be a problem for everyone.

There was a lot of media talk that the Chiefs’ run defense would get exposed in the playoffs when Thornhill got injured... and of course all they did was stop Derrick Henry and then a prolific 49ers rushing attack.
