How do you residents of Jackson County feel about living in "Mahomesville"?
Because eventually the Jacobins are getting rid of Jackson anywhere they can and frankly I can't see any argument against just naming the county after its chosen deity.

Guys... look, I know historically we've been a QB-starved franchise. And there was that whole NFL all-time record for consecutive playoff losses. And there was that thing about the top 5 longest championship drought in all of American professional sports. So we were due for some good fortune.
But... and I mean this as a compliment to Patrick Mahomes... we don't deserve him.
Nobody does. We don't. The Lions don't. The Browns don't.

Eric Stonestreet is in the ownership group too, so I don’t think it takes what we would consider a significant buy in.
This is strangely a dream come true for me. Seeing Patrick just embrace our city like he has is more than we could have ever asked from any athlete. It defies belief.

His family's seemingly very genuine appreciation of his landing in KC and Pat's continuation of expression that appreciation has been fun to watch. Then the contract seemingly stamped those thoughts in stone. We all know he liked baseball, and even if this is just one of their penny buy in deals, this feels like another significant show of genuine ties to the community.
All you old fucks better start watching your diets and buy a treadmill. Everyone with ties to this team needs to be around to see how this whole run plays out.

We have a weirdly large number of comedians and comedic actors who came from Kansas City and made it. During normal non-pandemic times they convince a few celebrities to fly back with them to have a celebrity softball game every year in KC for charity.

A lot of people don't realize that it wasn't Zobrists hit that fired up the crowd when we were down 3-0 to the Jays in the ALCS, nah, it was a drunk Eric Stonestreet who came on the jumbotron and screamed "LET'S ****ING GO" between innings and fired the entire crowd up lol.
