I can't seem to find who was the fastest QB to beat 31 other teams, but Patrick has to be on pace to shatter that record.

He won't have a chance to beat the Rams until 2022, unless by some miracle they make the SB.

Edit: Forgot to add Seattle, but I think we'll be playing them in February...

I've been doing a lot of all-time stats research since we got Mahomes (can you blame me?) and I find it weird that the NFL doesn't just lump regular season and playoff games together.

Go to pro football reference and the big columns are all about their regular season stats. You have to look elsewhere to find their stuff about the playoffs, and sometimes they don't even add them together, much less give you the entire list with playoff games factored in.

That's kind of bullshit. Wouldn't you say? They don't cut the regular seasons' stats off at 14 games just to be fair to the players who played before 16 games. Why the hell would it matter?

You tally the total number of games if people want to know TDs/yards per game or whatever. Simple.

I think it is bullshit too. But I guess this is their way to equalize for Hall of Fame comparisons on players who rarely or never make the playoffs. Let's just say for the heck of it, Calvin Johnson compared to Jerry Rice or whoever that has been in the playoffs a ton.

Just think of al the postseason games someone like Brady has played in. It’s got to be equivalent to another 2-3 years of games.

Yep, that's exactly what I meant. Julian Edelman vs. Calvin Johnson. I think this example might be why they don't lump in the playoff stats with regular season performance.

so we can knock out the next three this year and will just have NFC teams left.

Then he could get all the NFC East teams nest year. Rams and Seahawks in 2022. And the Packers and Vikings in 2023.

Not saying it's a guarantee, but could be done in 6 years. I wonder how long it took the other QBs to accomplish the same task.

So I checked how this compares to Brady and gotta say, Mahomes has a real good chance of finishing the list one year ahead of him.

They both had 28/31 done during first 4 seasons as starters, but it took Brady another three years to beat Washington in '07. So, that was his 7th season in a starter role. Mahomes will face Rams/Seahawks next year and then Vikings in '23, so if he sweeps them all, he'll clear the list in his 6th season. Impressive.

I’d legitimately be shocked if the Viqueens made it out of the NFC. Cowbitches beat the bejesus out of them. The eagles have staying power looks to me like and the Seahags aren’t better but they could get them. And never underestimate the ref/Brady factor.

I could see them making another NFC Championship Game...but 9 times out of 10 it's the better QB, and the NFC still has Brady and Dak is better than Cousins. I'd say that Jimmy G is Cousins' döpp3lganger so flip a coin.

Hard to see them making the Super Bowl.

Even harder to see Vikings winning, because the AFC rep will most likely be Mahomes and my favorite professional sports franchise, the KC Chiefs.

But even keeping up with Allen or Burrows would be s struggle for Cousins. Too much top end QB talent in the AFC for the Vikes to make it out of their conference.

To go a little deeper, there are 9 teams Patrick has never played and therefore has never beaten at home (Chicago, Detroit, Miami, Minnesota, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Seattle, Tampa Bay, and Washington), 7 teams he has never played on the road (Atlanta, Carolina, Dallas, Green Bay, Minnesota, Giants, Jets), and 5 teams he has played but not beaten on the road (Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Rams, Seattle, Tennessee).

You can also throw the Chiefs on all of those, because...obviously.

Has a chance at getting Seattle at home this week, Chicago, Detroit, and Miami at home next year (based on schedule rotation) and Green Bay, Minnesota, and the Jets on the road.

Thank you. Peter King on pff was saying the last thing time we beat the Bengals was in 1978…which didn’t seem right. Maybe I misunderstood him. The show aired a couple of weeks ago.

I missed that one because it was flexed and I had tickets to Phil Collins.

after Sat, Vikes fans are going ape shit thinking they will make it to the SB
I have no idea who will out of the NFC. Still thinking SF because of experience and Defense.

History is not on the side of Cowboysj or vikings. Seems like they will choke.

Philly is 50/50 to me

In opposite world, Derek Carr will be the first qb in nfl history to lose to every team once the panthers and raiders get him
