They’re saying Bosa is probably out, Ingram and Harris already out. Chargers in trouble.

I'm in Oregon. Seems to me Saints have been in a primetime game or at least televised in my area, every fucking week.
I like the helmet and all lol, but I'm bored with them.

I know the jokes about them not having fans but the truth is there are some hardcore Chargers fans out there, and my God you have to feel for them. It is unreal the type of injuries that they get each year.

A chance for everyone (but us of course) in the division to come up with a win this week (Donks have a bye...which is a win for them...) Go Saints.

Any LA and California teams I will be a fan of. But Rams come first.

Saints probably win by a TD. If the Chargers defense was mostly healthy (Bosa and Ingram playing), I would say it was a coin flip. Only reason it probably won't get out of hand is the fact that MT won't be on the field and I still haven't seen Brees play up to his usual standard.

Not really thinking about the Saints post-season aspirations. Just playing up to their standard really. Gonna be tough to do if Michael Thomas isn't playing, and the rest of his offense doesn't catch the ball.

I admit that I've only seen Tayson (?) throw the ball maybe 5 times ever, but he hasn't completed one either. Now, I'm sure he's thrown several times when i wasn't watching a Saints game, but seriously, what position is this guy supposed to be filling? I don't see anything yet that tells me he's the eventual replacement for Brees. Anyone care to change my mind?

Looks like our grip atop the division is slipping.

Kind of concerning to think what’s going to happen when our big contracts start coming due. I don’t see a lot of cheap impact players coming into this franchise, while our rivals seem to be stockpiling it by the boatload.

When they start coming due? Everyone is already paid.

They’re doing a great job the last two years of adding cheap contributors at all levels of the draft. We are fine.

When Brees had the hand injury, they didn't miss a beat with Bridgewater. Undefeated with Teddy, including a dominant win on the road against the Seahawks. If Sean Payton had a little more Belichick mentality, they would have dumped Brees and kept Bridgewater.

I mean when they start to squeeze the salary cap. Right now we’re still paying relatively little on many of our long term deals.

And I’m seeing some decent role players, but Veach hasn’t drafted anyone with pro bowl potential in the last several years with the exception of possibly Clyde (who has been a slight disappointment so far imo).

Solid starters are nice but eventually we’ve gotta be able to find some true impact players. Because our current ones aren’t getting any younger or cheaper.

Eventually we’ll get passed by if we don’t start drafting better.

This is just an insane take, I’m sorry.

Thornhill has pro bowl potential. Sneed somehow already looks like a star in the making without a real offseason. Clyde is going to continue to get better, we haven’t saw Gay or Niang really thus far. Basically everyone else has exceeded expectations in the past two drafts outside of Darwin or Allegretti.

Hitting on those picks to fill out the back half of your roster is how you continue to win big. You have to have that depth, it doesn’t matter how good your stars are.
