Nice!

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">That TD pass is Mahomes’ 3rd of the day, his 24th of the season and the 100th of his career. He becomes the fastest QB in NFL history to reach 100 career TD passes, accomplishing the feat in 40 career games. He tops the previous mark of 44 games (PFHOF Dan Marino).</p>&mdash; Chiefs Communications (@ChiefsPR) <a href="https://twitter.com/ChiefsPR/status/1325535995836702720?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">November 8, 2020</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

After all the years of watching other teams succeed with top tier QB's, us old die hards are overdue. The football gods blessed us with a HOF worthy QB to make up for past failures.

Never in my wildest dreams did I conceive that the team I have followed for the past 24 years would one day have the undisputed GOAT at QB. Still feels like a dream at times.

If I'm not mistaken he's also the fastest to his first 10,000 yards, 100 TDs (Peyton, I think, is the fastest to 10,000/100).

Mahomes is having an MVP type season. 25 TD's and only 1 INT could be a record as well.

It is. It was actually a record last week at 21-1.

Not too shabby for a kid that was not viewed as a great draft pick by all the "experts" at the time.

Where is the colored record chart showing Mahomes taking over all of Marino's spots?

Maybe it's time to consider an extension beyond his ten years.

To me, this is the most impressive feat of them all. For the past decade plus, Aaron Rodgers has been the poster boy for not turning the ball over. Patrick has nearly halved his TD/int rate over the first 100. Insane.

Soccer players have signed life contracts, I don't know why we're fucking around with 10 year deals.

The "30 for 30" folks should produce an episode on this.

Think about that movement, and what has come from it.

Legendary stuff, worthy of a "30 for 30".

I still think we need to fly a thank-you banner to Clark Hunt to close the books on that chapter.

Man, Elway sucked.

He really did. He was a sham who was foisted on the Denver public for more than a decade, and they drank the koolaid. Jay Cutler is the best Broncos quarterback ever (other than a season or two of HgH animating Manning's corpse).

The more I think about it, the more I comp Elway to a “more often Eli Manning” meaning, Elway had a knack for showing up and winning big or important games (first 3 Super Bowls as an exception, of course). Now, obviously he was more
Physically gifted than Eli but statistically, Elway’s just not that impressive, even factoring in the different eras, an argument that is getting real stale anyway.
